That would count to me as capital growth. I only have 40k worth and sure there are others here nursing larger loss than me, but it ain't a loss till you sell, GL to you regardless.

From my position it won't take long for my capital loss to outstrip any benefit of a dividend. Growth is critical for BAE as well as me! For BAE the company and performance for me off the back of that my capital. I font like to tie my my money up for the sake of a dividend . I trade medium to short term so a divi is a bonus, that's all to me. By default this is now moving into s medium term holding.......with a divi payment. I will consider taking a loss and moving on. Havent had to fo that with an investment in a while didn't think I would consider it with Bae. GLA. S66.

Do you think Bae is too close to government, our government, thus the price will only go where they want it to go?

I have about 40k worths of Bae, probably bought in too high but there you go.
My question is do Bae have any assets (of their own) or are they just based/working in MOD owned facilities by agreement of contracts? For example do they have their own R&D establisment(s).

Should have clarified. Share price, that is what I cant fathom, as their performance as a company , as I said has been brighter than their price as present.

Pretty bleak recent performance despite the new contracts news. I believe Bae have operated well through current covid crisis, so why the negative movement?

Wouldn't have thought low 600's would turn into low 500's! Strange movements, but cant see what is driving it down. There's a trading update due soon, but surely it cant be that? Any ideas?

Curious as to what you would attribute the recent negative movement to?
Surely there should be more stability about this share? Can't blame everything on ofgen and potential (re) nationalisation?
