The area we are talking about is vast and the way I see it, the natural barriers underground that trap the waters have been breached through mining, and therefore exposed and thus now contaminated, as the voids fill they decant into the natural water table and cause the damage, also they erode the pyrite which will eventually lead to sink holes (check out the radio cast by Byron this morning) The drinkable water will be to the standards that the water companies set it can be no less as you rightly say would lead to all sorts of claims Thats the way I see things, I am disappointed to see the rise stopped in it's tracks, do we have a reason?

It is the miners that have caused this situation by exposing the rock to the air, the water seepage into the mine shaft causes the natural chemical reaction in the rock which inturn fouls the water, the water is rising all the time and if not pumped out decants into the natural water table. The miners relinquish their responsibility when they close or used to, this area has been mined for 130yrs thus the responsibility for the old mines has gone The water has to be now pumped and cleaned, it is not WET who are reliant on the miners it is the reverse. If/when the water decants it will be Joe Public who will pay the most of it . I think but am not sure that this is one of the problems CRND face. Thats the way I see it All input welcome

Currently going through the questions and answer report, about half way, nothing to report really, I maintain that this project will surely be hit by time delays ie Sept results, just going through the questions answers gives you an idea of how huge this project is and how many people there are to please. Not concerned with anything yet, yes funding will be an issue but it will be funding for progress not survival, I most certainly view it as an investment rather than punt however I will be top slicing with the rest of you come 3/4p and gladly run on free Norbs, doctors eh, thats what they call it down your end do they lol

I was just doing a little work on these, come back to the screen and they've popped up 5 bloody pence, as you can tell I'm not in yet, It seems around the 7th of Oct maybe when the funding of it may come to light any one any views on this?
