Very suspicious with Greatland tending to release RNS after Newcrest announcements. Feels like advertising to me - 'Take a look at what we're involved in' feel good news is coming tonight. Perhaps worth looking at whats not in the presentation. That massive step out perhaps?
Absolutely. I would go as far as the presentation almost doesn't make sense without the subsequent knowledge. I'm struggling to think of a more secure investment with Covid, jurisdiction, location, gold price (Supply down / production in decline, demand increasing), JV partner (including proven mining technology and method - see Cadia), Telfer production issues, Proven Board / Geologist / CEO etc.... and so on and on and on. Even our main competitors in the area are doing their best to impede themselves by blowing up things they shouldn't bles them.
I always am concerned about cashflow with my investments. We have two years worth in my opinion.
So very true Bamps. Everyone is out for the short term gain (gamble). The RNS / presentation from the 30th Nov which took a while to process totally reinforced my belief that Greatland was from then a very secure investment. It has been given a cash injection to explore almost becoming the exploration arm of Newcrest. Mr Heddle also secured IMHO the Havieron toll processing deal to be implemented keeping a takeover attempt at bay (for now).
My money is on a x2 to x4 gain by December if progress at Havieron continues at the same pace.
is incredible. The price was reflecting Havieron with Scallywag being essentially a free punt of which we are awaiting more results at depth. Yes the results were poor and yet there is so much support.
Its best for most to switch off for this week.
Surely Gervaise Heddle is better off taking a year out to watch his £24m or so invrease x3/4 fold. With all that cash he could either buy a majority stake or set up a brand new explorer. May be some gardening leave to be had too i suspect.
Thank you Positivevibes, looking good.
Probably March time for Red setter? Is that right?
He's been on the lash since the 8th! Did you not see the pint glass! You'd look forlorn after a weekend he's probably had. Multi-millionaire and leaving a dream company and great mates no doubt. I do now think the odds of a buyout have been slashed again unfortunately.
The market reaction is very encouraging
