It's a sector wide correction. The market lumps Pensana into the same pot as all other non producing companies, regardless of where they are in the project lifecycle. Each day that passes though, we are one step closer to being a producer and as such, fundamentals will override market sentiment at some point.

Vacuumschmelze is one of the largest magnet manufacturers (not hard as there aren't many of them) in the West. They have proven German technology and are owned by a US PE company and have recently built a magnet factory in the US supported by over $110m of US Government money.

They are central to the US Government's plans to wrestle control of the sector from China and today they have confirmed when and where the NdPr will come from to make this a reality.

This announcement hadn't been made when Stonegate put a valuation on Pensana of between £2.50 and £5 a share.

In this case the report covers the year to 30th June 2025 and therefore the information is accurate at that point. Today is the 16th October 2025 and the information contained within it may well be out of date, which is the case here.

That's a different question altogether Hogsnipe. BM was asking if China has ownership of ports and railways and in relation to the relevant ones (Lobito port and corridor) for Pensana, they don't.
