I must admit, i bought some shares yesterday after having traded them last week and profited 2.5 pence. Let's see where we go today..I need £1.503 to break even....But I am always holding the big bulk of shares I have had for a while now.
IAG will come good by the summer as bookings will soar, especially with no testing required. That is a game changer plus covid numbers coming down everywhere. DYOR.

Planes were very FULL in december and beginning of January actually.. Secondly, jan-feb months are usually quieter months..Come the spring and summer you will find that IAG will be adding routes, frequencies as people will be travelling more. Plus, with testing now almost gone, people will book flights /holidays more from 11th Feb. Not long now till IAG becomes profitable IMO. DYOR.

This is another opportunity to pick up shares cheaply, like i just did.. I traded them last week from 1.59 to 1.625...i intend to trade them again this time round ( plus i am holding my old bulk at much lower prices and will not sell those). I love this volatility, its a buy from me at these levels. See what happens. Airlines will soon report a big rise in bookings as soon as we have a date when day 2 tests are scrapped. I, myself, cant wait to know so i can book a holiday.

Northscot, in one post you say testing being scrapped is NOT news and its already priced in...In another post you say if Russia invades Ucraine we can expect this to nosedive!!! Which one is it??Either the news are priced in or not. We know about possible conflict in Ucraine so it should priced in really.. The dip has already happened and this is the worst the share price can do with no new news IMO. We might get a reversal this afternoon as we have dipped quite a bit already and there is value in some stocks. DYOR.

This will go up. As simple as that. All this negativity will pass and we could be soon reaching £170 - 1.80 when testing comes to an end. That will boost travel BIG TIME. The best thing to do when investing is NOT to panic. EVER.

Good luck...i think its always safer to stay IN...to hard to predict and results are coming soon so we might start going up....and the removal od day 2 test is positive but not priced in. IMO.

people forget that day 2 test removal will be another boost to the airline...and its coming soon...

Oracle, i think you are incorrect, many markets have had their time, the time has come for the FTSE100 to catch up and the process has a long way to go. Just compare shiller PE ratio of US markets and other markets to FTSE100..You will see money moving to the UK this year.
Its inevitable..You wait for this to drop now, might have to wait a fair bit of time. But good luck.

We have gone up quite a bit since 1.25 and for those who luckily bought near the bottom (myself included) we have had a nice run...and hopefully should continue...these derampers who are clearly shorting would want it to go down now but as the pandemic is coming to an end, its going to be difficult to go back to £1.25. IMO. Just under 1.60 now and the results from us airlines have come in beating expectations..it should bode well. DYOR.
