Robbren58, never happened with IAG so far..when i buy, if i am down, i wait...i buy more and then sell when i am in profit. IAG has been very good to me. The best trade was to buy iag after financial crisis for 1.88...it then went to 1.10-1.20 but held for many years until i started selling at 5.50 and above. Selling last just at 7 pounds..then i traded other stocks..came back to iag when the price crashed...took part in the RI and here i am with an average of just over £1.20. The thing is that i keep adding if it crashes..then i wait...thats all. I now have extra powder again.
The other day i bought some (18k shares ) at just over 1.50 and i was down for a couple of days..i never panic, i know this will shoot up...time is needed, not long now.
A very good share has been FEVR.Bought and sold about 30 times. I just bought some more..tomorrow is results. Fingers crossed, if not i shall buy some more. It always comes good.

I am going to milk my day trade a bit more here.. can see this going back up to 1.65..I shall see when to sell my extra shares i bought at just over 1.50. This is looking good. 10-11 pence up today???anyone?? GLA.

Oracle, it might look weak now but just imagine what bookings will look like come feb 11th and Spring and summer...no testing is a GAME CHANGER...people will travel again, omicron does not affect many people now, life will go on and people will go on holiday again..Its only a matter of time now..Profits will return and the stock will be higher as a result..it's that simple.

Viren, i would not worry at all...this will go up...just wait, ride the wave...once they are done with the drop, this will go up..all the big fish are doing is getting rid of weak investors before sending the stock market up.. The best thing is to ignore it and wait...maybe top up if you can. At the end of the day, when IAG becomes profitable again (2022) the numbers will translate into higher share prices, simples..patience is required in anything in life. Relax, everyone. End of pandemic is one day closer now.

Makinghay, if it wasn't for you we wouldn't know anything!!! With inflation you reckon people will keep their money in bank accounts?? you are so naive!!! With a bit of time the stock market will go back up again as people will put money back in there where you have a chance to make bigger returns to beat inflation..this drop is probably most correlated to some tech stocks being too high and the possible war..once these few tech stocks come back to earth a bit and the threat of war recedes , we will start going back up..

One thing i can tell you is that business travellers are coming back!!!! As long as testing is not required (from the 11th Feb) this will fly, only a matter of time. More profits coming as labour costs diminishing (as advertised). DYOR.

AAL called down 39 cents at the mo. Nasdaq down 315. Markets still jittery but it will pass..Earnings season is here and its good one up to now. GLA.

I still think we will see a bounce later on...we have had a pullback and there is value around.
I cant see IAG going down more due to the fact that tests have been removed...bookings should be on the UP..in fact JET2 has announced bookings have surged. DYOR.
