Roan
The Company is pleased to announce that it has completed the manufacturing of the new front-end modular 50 000 tonnes per month unit, which was designed by the Jubilee Technical Services ("JTS") team in South Africa. The new modular unit is pending painting before being dissembled and containerised for shipping to Zambia during February 2024. Once installed, this module will allow Roan to process multiple feed sources in excess of 1 000 tonnes per month of copper contained in concentrates.
Kalan, can you explain what the last sentence means? I’m obviously misreading it?
Mikie, I understand the narrative but the answer here is this is a cash market, not future facing. Although Leon has promised higher margins on Chrome these are not in an RNS so no evidence. The actual evidence is just more mistakes in delivery with Roan being the latest. Until wider margins on Chrome and actual Copper production is shown what else do you expect? Ultimately JLP could be one of the largest Chrome producers, but it has to be at a good margin otherwise what’s the point? Regards a rather pi**ed off Sumo
Still trying to work out the net here. If we are doing a thousand tons Copper through Roan at $4k profit then broadly $50m for a year plus 30% of the 350m ton project meaning another $20-30m. All potentially online in the next year? Sounds good to me!
