I would think that it is simply reflective of our low sample size so far but the average grade across the three ten day periods we have been given details for so far is 4.01g/t, 3.80 g/t and then 3.45 g/t. The fourth and firth sets of ten should now be available (as they take readings as they go) and so we will soon know if this is a continuing trend.

Definitely some interesting nuggets in that interview. Slight concern that they may be spending based on a funding deal that has not yet finalised (again!) but can’t fault the enthusiasm. We know we get the cash but not much info on what the lender will get as yet. Be lovely to think it will be a simple secured loan but that seems somewhat unrealistic.

Does the 360 tpd rate already reflect the 86% availability? So it would be higher with full availability.

Fabulous news; given the slight delay in releasing the grade updates I had started to fear but no need, high grade continues and mining volumes are increasing.

13 months worth at 400 tpd; that’s around 150,000 ton of high grade near surface material they’ve identified. I do wonder how the recent exploration drilling didn’t seem to find it but certainly not complaining.

What a very exciting few days !

I do feel it is a little unfair on those of us who have to work. I've still not had a chance to look into the named due diligence visitor from yesterday and since then we have had gold pours, ambassadors holding gold bars and notable share price action. Not to mention some large individual share trades.

I'm sure I've said it before but whatever criticism you may wish to level at Caracal, dull really isn't a legitimate one. Popcorn at the ready for next week.

Recent rise does not seem to have been accompanied by any particular increase in ramping on Twitter ect, which is good.

JerseyCrew - if you have the ear of the company I would be very great full if you’d ask them to look into the company filings of key subsidiary Caracal Holdings limited; the accounts are now 4 months overdue. I think 6 months triggers the automatic winding up rules. What particularly troubles me is that the sole director is our ex-chairman and the registered address is that of an ex-director’s solicitors (which means warning letters almost certainly won’t reach the current directors). I’ve emailed the company twice but with no response.

Right, get a shirt on and tidy the dog toys away for this site visit. Brew some coffee, bake some bread or the gold mine equivalent (show them a massive gold bar from smelt Monday perhaps?).
