The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Our new executive chair’s appointment has been registered at Companies House (together with the resignation of our old non-executive chair). Fairly quick work and good to see.
Be very interesting to have an interview with him and hear what his thoughts and plans are.
However, still no filings made against Caracal Holdings which I find rather troubling.
Cela24, could there be a legitimate reason to select a smaller piece of equipment (other than price) ? I'm thinking trundling up a dirt track up the side of a hill and then working in multiple smaller pit locations might call for smaller plant.
Cela24 - may I commend Diggerland to your attention ( https://www.diggerland.com/ ), I think you'd love it.
The latest delivery was a Shantui sd22, google suggests they are around $135,000 new.
I’ll have to get my old digger top trumps out of the loft to see how it compares with others on the market but it looks the part to me.
Profit down 15% seems to be the headline.
The original resource was JORC compliant, it is all in the prospectus. The update might not have been but that only raises a possible question over the additional gold/confidence level.
You can say the new high grade area hasn’t been certificated but they do appear to keep digging it and processing it and soon enough will produce a jorc report for it.
Should they slow down in order to produce reports or just crack on ? The plant was there already so it’s not like they are wasting capex on a flimsy resource.
5,000 shares traded in their last session, after their Eid holidays and just before results. Maybe results will trigger some more activity.
Thanks for sharing, a fairly good presentation I thought.
I liked the annotated share price graph on page 7 but felt the upcoming activities page 26 badly failed to reflect ongoing production and progress; from that page you would be forgiven for thinking nothing will happen until the finance is finalised.
ID78 - my reading of the RNS of 16 Feb is that the prospectus long stop is 30 June. Fits neatly with the anticipated financing completion date given in the recent interview. In the words of Col. Hannibal Smith; 'I love it when a plan comes together'.
The entire purpose of the prospectus is to provide the necessary information to potential shareholders. There is absolutely no risk of it somehow being dealt with in secret and for it only to come to light later.
Once drafted the company sends it to the FCA for approval, to make sure it meets their requirements, then it is published by the company.
