With most runners pledging corporation tax cut this surely can only be good for the stock market over the next 18 months

It's quite remarkable that under a Conservative Government since Boris landslide, Lloyd's Banking Group shares have dropped from 72p to where we are today.

Interesting next 18 months to see if the market likes the new PM

Just saying, I saved all my life ( from the age of 18) and all my savings came from hard work ( 33 years ) I am no sliver spoon club mate .

Bought my house, and paid off the mortgage within 15 years due to over paying etc

I lived a very simple life really, ( I think I can be a little bit of a tight sometimes ) never bought a brand new car in my life or gone on any expensive Holiday's ( accept hiring a Caravan in Great Yarmouth a couple of times a year )

Because I saved my nest egg . I was made redundant a few years back, I never claim any Benefits even through I was entitled to Job job seekers allowance as I was made redundant.

My problem is I should not come on here on Fridays nights while done the Pub ... saying I am loaded..lol

Even through I very proud of myself how I made my money because at 16 I had nothing , honest

I personally found employee Sharesaves a little frustrating as it was at a fixed price ( A generous one I must add ) you was fixed in for 3 or 5 years before you can take up option to buy share option at the fixed rate , that you paid in monthly

Reason for this, I used to watch the share price sometimes double my option price but my hands was tied and could not check out at double bubble , then only watch a General Market sell off and come option date to buy the shares at discounted price only to see a smaller share price that it was 12 months earlier.

This is why I like holding on direct on the market because I can sell at anytime I like .

I am loaded dont really need Dividends so concentrating on buying back unloved shares at today's prices gets my support.

We easily see 80p on the next bull run if we manage to buy back a few more billion next year :-)

Total is slowly rising alright.

Good thing s come to those who wait, in 2023 the NAV value going up and more Dividend money in the Pot for us loyal shareholders :-)

Yes , we saw a nice up tick yesterday

As we all know I been in a couple of Bear markets holding shares, But have to say this one is not so painful with the a back programme, you know once the bull market returns the Market will adjust the new share price accordingly .

Anyway I wonder if my 1st top up ( Dividend re-investment ) going to be go through to day at 41p
