I be honest I not too bothered if they do lend out my shares to people to short, I was just stating what I have read in the past how it works.

I believe in my own convictions , would be nice to shout BINGO here in the near future :-)

Patience is a virtue, especially when it comes to investing in shares

If us private investors, every morning placed a fixed sell price at £1.50p on John Wood shares, The brokers that allow their clients to short shares will need to close all shorts on John Wood, because Brokers are lending out our shares on their books to other clients who like short shares .

Its a real kick in the nuts to true investors as the our Broker is using our invested shares to work against us ( to make money for them and the shorts )

Follow the clever money folks IMHO

I be selling your US investments ASAP and buy some more Legal and General shares

In 2025/2026 Legal and General shares will be a safe haven giving a nice income if the Dividends are yielding around 5% to 10 % Annual :-)

Dividends are always special when they hit my account :-)

For example : Year to date

Abrdn PLC is up 24% on just confirming nice Dividend is safe

Legal and General in comparison is only up 6%

Saying that

I do love a unloved shares that pay big DIVIDENDS. TBH

I was watching homes under the hammer the other day

A couple bought a run down house as an investment so they can do up and rent out as for some retirement income

Anyway they spent 12 months plus hard Labour doing the house up for the rental market

Local Estate Agents revalued the property and told them they could receive a Annual Rental income with a Yield of 8%

I was sitting there thinking all that hard graft they done for 12 to 18 months and all the hassle of been a Landlord these days.

Me I would , Just go and buy some Legal and General shares still for an 8.5% Annual income, while sitting at home watching TV and drinking cups of tea all day relaxing ...lol
