I think over the past few months, we’ve all reflected on all the negativity here. It now seems like that’s nearly ‘out the way’ and time to look on at the positives. Time to move on. The Company has still got to prove itself, so let’s give them the chance. Yes... Albeit slow, Mayan should start delivering by end of this month, alongside possibly some Petroteq news..

Makes you wonder how the MXO SP is worked out. An asset worth $20m and Company valued at $1.75m. Surely the market should take into account this value and price up SP accordingly to value?? Then if the asset de values, the SP should then come down etc? I suppose all LSE Co’s are valued similarly..

yn1000.. Looks that way to me too. It’s not just been CW though, there have been quite a few involved who were party to this. Tbh there nothing you, nor I, nor anyone can do about it because these people are in full control and know the system. The RNS today should be a wake up call to old and new shareholders, wether it’s Mayan a Energy or any AIM lister out there. This has left a bad taste in my mouth, but I’m just hoping they manage to get on with the job now and prove up production.. imo

The deal and potential does, on the surface, look huge, but atm words are cheap and I personally will judge on RNSd performance. ATM, today Mayan SP hasn’t budged on this news. If the market thought this was a game changer, then surely some movement would have occurred.. Positive news all the same.. imo

I think everyone has tried to predict Mayan share price.. imo I don’t think your too far off. If these new operators come up with some production levels, then we should see more than 100bopd. Once we are in production though, then this gives some credence that more production would, should follow on. Also, the placing is now out of the way. There should be no new raise, for a while now anyway, and puts that to bed. Lastly, whatever PQE come up with now should be a bonus.. Personally, I would hope for .50 .60 by end h1.. only imo.

Yes, new agreements do sound very good. Re the placing..It would be good to know who took it up. My guess ifor a fair chunk would be RJ and, or SL clients. Imo Mayan should start to move forward now once these placing shares get moved on. However, if it’s who I think took them, then they will be held, not sold on for a quick 10%.. Hopefully Mayan will settle down by end of this first quarter.. For now, I’m near burn toast!!

Well, discounted placing at .12, although it’s not a big raise imo. Could have been worse. CW keeps his position and hopefully some wells online by end February.. No balloons..

yn1000... As much as I want CW to resign and move along.. You can’t 100% say CW is ‘blocking all progress’. I feel your pain and for LT holder’s. Perhaps your email to them spells out our concerns! It seems NO shareholders have the foggiest of what’s going on, either with the review or speculation on a placing. I can’t see a placing myself, but with Mayan and their advisors, absolutely anything can happen here..

Just a thought, Reading between the lines on the last RNS dated 31/12/18 they state that they are engaging a “Technical advisory committee as a way to strengthen MYN in house capabilities. This being after the third party US based operator completing its full operation report. Is this just me thinking this way and hoping that I am correct in my thinking that if the operation report was rubbish why would they hire a TA Committee or are they saying that the report was credible lets have some professional company help out and let us move forward. fingers crossed its move forward”

Following these last three months of reviewing the review etc.. Do shareholders really think the BoD don’t care about us? To give a fair and honest answer to this, I’ve a feeling they are completing some background issues, such as production, maybe sorting out company finances and the ongoing position of CW and CEO.. imo Mayan have now addressed all of these issues and a RNS is being drawn up. Seems to me it’s going to be s complicated one and one we are not going to be totally happy with. However, it’s best to know rather than being left in the dark. A poster last Wednesday 09.14, Sussexmagpie put out a relevant point on here.. I will copy and paste it on next post.. Nevertheless, let’s hope we are enlightened this coming week!

IMO Placings are done when news is due, not after the SP has risen on said news. Placees are enticed, drawn in, knowing news is forthcoming. No point taking up a placing when the SP has already risen on ‘delivered’ news? Placees can then flip on that new news promised. Nevertheless, it’s fair to say Mayan can sell an asset or two if need be. But going by Mayan’s history, then nothing would surprise me anymore. Needless to say I have near written off my investment here..

Should be good, or okay at least, given the time they have had. If news is not good and no progress been made, then that will be a near end of what could have been a good story. Most on here will agree the way forward months ago when shinnanigans came to light, that there should have been a clean sweep of the BoD.. and their disciples/ advisors. I hope some headway, progress has at least been made, but how are we supposed to get this confirmed unless Mayan RNS is an update,. Very unprofessional imo.. Perhaps some placing funds can be used to put them all on a business course?

Thank goodness it’s just your opinion! I believe we have great assets, but just don’t have a team adequate enough to bring them into fruition. Perhaps that may change, but one thing is for sure, we will find out soon enough.. I’m going for an RNS Monday 7.02am :-)..imo Eventually they’ve got to land news on us..

CW & EG May have already sold out of Petroteq when their SP was much higher? It’s possible and nothing would surprise me.. This wait has gone on long enough and I’m not expecting fantastic news. Any news from this shower of amateurs won’t be good enough. The company needs a new brush to get rid of dead wood and all the wannabe’s.. How I got tangled up with this company and locked in, is certainly an expensive lesson learnt.. If I get half my investment back, then I will be more than happy with that..

ajax62, No one’s been pumping this over the past few weeks as there’s been no news here to pump?! Looks like someone has sold 8m, probably due to being fed up waiting and moved over somewhere else. Shouldn’t be too long now though and we will see where we all stand..

Yes Northfork, sounds simple to do, but it’s beyond me why they don’t. It could be they just don’t have the capacity of experience to align themselves with shareholders or even take note, how important it is to deliver on deadlines given out on RNS’s. Eddie said to me, “Sit back now and enjoy the ride” Didn’t realise at the time he meant my little brown eye!! Meanwhile just sitting, hoping someone within the company manages to get a grasp of this dire situation..

Yes, agree Mayan do have ADL participation rights, but I’m more interested in the ‘now’. Shareholders were supposed to be updated early Jan, it’s mid Jan now, so once again this BoD defaulted on last RNS and time slipped. Nevertheless, we should get updated soon..

Should at the least eventually give us some clarity. Not only have Mayan paid out on this independent review, but for what cash flow the company have, must be getting bit low and continues to be eaten into. Oil should be turned back on, if not already done so and at least some production can be shown to be happening. Love or hate it now, but PQE news on their production is close too.. Given the deleted tweet BenP manage to grab, then we could be looking at 1000bopd end Jan time.. As to CW and his position, then, as yn1000 says, IF he goes, then more positivity coming our way.. Trying to stay positive here and hope Mayan board can at least get the Company moving short term. Noticed also some chatter warming up on twitter too.. imo

Doesn’t matter how much WTI is if Mayan can’t get into production. They have had and wasted ample time to do this. Cost cutting for now helps reading last RNS.. ‘Over the course of the previous few weeks, the Company has enacted a cost cutting exercise significantly reducing its overheads’ .. Although I would have thought cost cutting was standard practice in any company. It’s going to take a well experienced CEO to grab this company and squeeze it by the b*lls, turn the company around and sweep out dead wood. A lot to blame here for where we are, including advisers along the line.. Next news should be imminent now and imo not holding out too much hope here atm given history.. Can only just hope given my and other LT holder’s well earned cash in here. ‘the Company will look to update its shareholders in the early New Year with all relevant developments regarding the appointment of the Operator, the formulation of its development strategy for its portfolio of Texas and Oklahoma based oil and gas assets and membership of the Technical Advisory Committee’.. Just hope this TACO Committee pulls this off for us.. imo
