Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Notified on the 9th Feb but only RNS'd today.
So before I set off to Newcastle on Sunday I will take mum her paper and attempt to explain 'Influencer' , 'Blogger' and 'Vlogger' to her. I suspect she will think they are three of Santa's reindeers!
Norman Hunter, Chopper Harris..oh Vlogger??? Sorry, thought you said Clogger!
You just know that 'Baby Face Brandon' will get turned away at passport control as they won't believe he is 60. He will then start selling the border guards SkinTrust membership before washing his hands in mild green fairy liquid - for hands that do dishes (one for the oldies!!).
Felt the same, but you never know!!
I asked for clarity Gidget, but the post was;
"Rumour that GB has been in China surfacing, could be a good time to top up and should mean we know the deal with China resource next week. I added a few yesterday."
Make of it what you will. I advised the poster to proceed with caution!!
Interesting post on the DeepVerge Facebook page. I wont post it here, and don't want to question the integrity of the poster on there, but is anybody able to clarify. Apologies for the cloak and dagger but don't want to appear ramping!!
Hadn't seen this report ragnarr, thank you for posting. It will take a few readings of the document for me to get my head around it but it all seems to make good sense. Seems DeepVerge have the ammunition for the battle ahead.
Done!
Mum namechecked by Mr Brandon and Mr Chesh - party time on Sunday (thank you both).
Is there a common procurement platform for the various water companies (I am thinking UK here) or will representation need to be made to each individual company? I am guessing that the Gov't trial results and details of the available monitoring equipment will be circulated to all invested parties (Yorkshire Water, Northumberland Water etc.), assuming of course that they are not already involved in the trials.
I remember as an icebreaker during my first lecture at University, I was given a map of England and asked to draw a line defining the South of England. I of course, drew a line directly below the River Tyne, because from my standing point, everything below that was south.
The ambiguity of the question that was posed I can relate to timeframes. Depending on how long you have been in a stock, or how long you intended to be in a stock will allow you a different interpretation of the terms, ‘soon’, ‘imminent’, ‘early Q1’ etc. They are all open to differing interpretations. Early Q1 for me is January, February is mid Q1 and March late Q1. However if you split the quarter in half and have an early and late Q1 then anything up to mid February is early Q1. So depending on your standpoint, early Q1 has gone and we are in mid Q1, or else early Q1 still has a couple of weeks to go.
I hate ambiguity!!
Mum gets updated every Sunday morning with the weeks goings on. She treats you and Gerard with almost reverence, referring to you as Mr Chesh and Mr Gerard. She forgets most of what I tell her, which is possibly a good thing but keeps telling me to call in at Sand Hutton and find out what is happening (it's just up the road from me). Always makes me laugh. Strangely she always asks about Muggins which is a bit of a worry!!
Cheers Chesh, much appreciated.
As at 1 January 2022, shareholders holding more than 3% of the share capital of DeepVerge were:
Helium Rising Stars Fund – 9,403,443 shares (4.37% of existing share capital).
Newuncle suggests that they are selling and preventing any significant increase in share price. Other than TR1's is there any other way to quantify or validate this?
I like this section and the term behemoth.
'This company has products and services operating in 60 countries. It is involved in, along with other things, Covid 19 monitoring and diagnostics through waste water and drinking water. It enjoys a strong position in China (established over 10 years) and North America, as well as in Europe. A big contract win is currently being negotiated with China Resources, a behemoth. This news is imminent. It has also been operating trials for a number of governments around the world. These trials will soon be coming to a close'.
Soon and imminent have to be the most often used but most frustrating terms for investors. I can wait though!!
Following the decision of Glenn Tracy to leave Microsaic the Company will shortly therefore commence a formal process to identify and appoint a successor CEO. Pending this appointment and to support the orderly handover in due course, Gerry Brandon, Non-executive Chairman, will temporarily play a more active role in the running of Microsaic's business. I can only assume, at a busy time for DeepVerge, Gerry has the capacity to help steer another ship. The working synergies and company alignments that have happened over the past year must make this transition easier, and Gerry has always trumpeted the strength of the respective management teams so it should work. Takeover/merger would make sense.
I read that and also considered that Tissue Regenix was priming itself for NASDA listing. Timing is everything (see DDDD outcome). Pleased with the trading statement and very positive about this company.
Two 10K sales exactly an hour apart following the 25K sales. Dropped to 10K perhaps?
That was their angle desoc but Gerry was very quick to highlight the encryption and security of the data (as he has highlighted all along). Friends of mine who have no knowledge of DeepVerge, (I think they ignore my enthusiastic ramblings) were intrigued by the science and not to perturbed by the data security side. Finger in the air test of public reaction but perceived to be extremely positive.
