Nah mate, its probably more likely that you are focused on SP and baggers whilst ignoring the fundamentals of the company. If i had listened to your random bagging strategy I would have sold at 7p, glad I tend to focus on research and fundamentals and adjust my exit accordingly, I would recommend investors think about doing the same with GGP, we may be on Aim, but that doesn't mean we are just like any other aim company, or we would already be back as 6p, but by all means sell up if you are happy with your profit, prob means you dont know much about the company anyway, but as they say, profit is profit and no sin in taking it, P.S. Its a fair point MFU and certainly anything is possible, But if I was an NC shareholder, I wouldnt be happy with paying a premium now prior to feesability, decision to mine etc, this isnt nailed on guys, we all forget we are still in gold exploration, yes prob the safest jurisdiction but anything can happen, a death, blow up the wrong cave, covid delays, and then possibly a feesability study that includes something left field which prevents block cave or another method under consideration. What happens then when NC have paid over the odds to keep ggp shareholders happy, and bought 60% instead of 5% or 30%, and then there is a problem and they dont get decision to mine, or feesability throws something up that drastically affects the economics. What happens in the new JV closer to telfer just signed (cant remember with who) find a high grade shallow resource and they decide to mine that first, I could go on forever, all prob highly unlikely scenarios, but no more highly unlikely than an early buy out IMO.

None the less I appreciate your view and its nice to have people put actual substance behind a theory so we can discuss it an corroborate or change our views.

1st question, How do NC or GGP value the asset in a way that keeps both shareholders happy with any offer made? Genuinely interested in your measured and well thought out response here, as I am sure many will be.

2) we already know there is likely a min of 5.5m OZ there, so to buy us out even on the public info of likely size now will cost a lot as NC will need to pay for 60% of the resource as they only own 40% currently, as a shareholder would you be happy with NC making an offer to GGP for 60% of the value of a likely 10mox plus reseource, when in a short few months, they can spend another 20m and increase there ownership and pay a far smaller % than the 60% they would have to pay now. I can see Sandeep in the board meeting now, "so Guys, you know how important Havarion is to telfer?, I know were about to drill 80km more and have yet to find the extent of mineralisation, but what Id like to do is make an outlandish offer that has to be accepted by the highly expectant GGP shareholders and I want to pay for 60% of this massif resource, yes yes I know we only have to spend 40 odd more million to own 70% and then only by 30%, but Id like to pay double the price now for the unknown resource instead of half the price for the known one on the way" Yup, sure to be slow clapped out the room I will ahve thought, but again, interested in your expect view here?

This board has been over this a gazzilion times, it makes no sense whatsoever for a company such as NC to suddenly become hostile in the hottest exploration province in the world where they currently dont own any licences and joiniors have a wonderful bounty of the hottest ones in town, mostly around us, what does that do for the next JV with anitpa or another junior when they also have multiple interested parties, or what if we then strike at scally or PRE and they come knowcking for a new one. it would be shooting yourself in the foot and from a reputation perspective and I feel would be seen as very short sighted and open the door to other majors. I have not seen NC behave in this way previously but perhaps you can enlighten me, always happy to be corrected with facts or apologise if wrong.

what I find so interesting about this news is that it is going to make Newcrest think, there are too many issues with a non 100% owned asset, now which jewel in their portfolio do they not own 100%,,,,YET
