RE: Is this a real business?25 Sep 2015 17:45
Hubster1-thank you for you frank and prompt views -i agree with the majority but would like to add the following (to hopefully aid understanding and discussion)
I am primarily concerned about the share price and what can move it higher. I think the company has been caught in a negative/death spiral technically in that apart from private investors on these chat forums (waiting/hoping for positive developments/newsflow), there are no institutions/buyers for the stock to counter the continuous selling by the OMPs. I am of the belief that we are getting close if not at the point where they may be less keen to sell. The lock up expiry for the founders etc on the 9th dec is a worry but how much liquidity are they really going to be able to get given that most of us need to see some positive newsflow to become buyers-no institution is coming to join the party given the market cap.
I am waffling here BUT the point i am trying to make is that apart from the company suffering irreparable financial and reputational damage from the suspension (not likely i am lead to believe) and not being a going concern by the end of the year, it cannot get much worse for the company from here.
Not all the issues you highlight can/will be resolved at once, but my feeling is that if the company starts to rebuild it's relationship with the market (proper IR, new broker, progressive dividend policy etc etc...) there is a good chance that we can move higher to price in just a part of the cash on the balance sheet let alone any value for the business-a lot more needs to be done for the market to believe that this is a good business to invest in in my opinion.
IMHO I think around these levels, it probably pays to take a small position BUT but not to watch it everyday ..and it is not for the faint hearted. My way of thinking suggests 50% potential downside (who knows really) vs 100%-150% upside.
Good luck all...remember DYOR...my hair has gone grey (well the ones i haven't pulled out) trying to understand what the hell is going on here.
