RE: GDPR23 Sep 2018 13:57
They are ready and compliant with GDPR as if you going to one of their websites or partners websites for the first time they inform you about it and give you the options to turn off the tracking, I know by the letter of the law they should all be turned off already and it's free you to turn them on but they are giving you the option before you click the button and as I've said before GDPR is a minefield for everyone STT's home ground of advfn is non-compliant with it has been pointed out many times it's breaking the law but he never mentions that I also had to take back 3 radiator valves because they didn't update properly when GDPR came in and wouldn't work so it seems it's not only the ad tech industry but everyone and any think that carries personal data.
I think Mr Jo public industry doesn't give a damn about GDPR as long as I can access a website for free people walk around with mobile phones in their pocket and have given Google, Samsung, Facebook in fact anyone that as a piece of software on the phone access to everything in their life and don't really give it a second thought the only person that seems to be worried about it here is STT trying to muddy the waters with anti- R1 sentiment again
