RE: GREAT NEWS2 Jan 2019 17:15
Jerry,
1 - Rock saw sampling differs from drilling in that the former involves sawing the outcropping rocks at surface and at intervals, whereas the latter uses a drill to get cores from surface to depth. Pertinently, it seems rock saw sampling doesn't require a permit, hence why we see it here. It's certainly a step up from blanket grab sampling.
2 - one can compare the surface expression and composition to other deposits (notably Alpala) and extrapolate. Clearly, PV 15 is now a high priority dirll target. Seeing that kind of strike length and width with >1% copper at surface is rare.
3 - agree it would be good to have a full update on everything (1-14 PV and all of the other sites). Personally, I'm happy to be drip-fed them as I think it maintains interest, and the share price, better.
4/5 - No idea if PV 15 is the next drill target. I very much doubt that any further work on BN and La Hueca will have turned up anything at surface that would detract from them being top priority. Perhaps we can deduce that PV 1-14 didn't turn up anything as spectacular as No.15 though.
6 - For several months now they have stated that they have drill ready targets. But they have 43 geos on the ground and they are clearly making use of them. The size of the concessions is such that I would imagine there is years of useful work that the geos can be getting on with while we wait. Their work will all be significantly value additive and it can only help to more clearly define the district, aollowing greater drill target accuracy and revealing as yet undiscovered targets.
Ref your last paragraph - I take this as a bonus piece of news - refreshing. The biggies (PEA, drill permits, next moves by BHP/Newcrest) are very much alive and well. In fact, I think just one more move by either Newcrest or BHP (similar to the 2% Newcrest addition in Dec 18) is really going to set the cat among the pigeons.
