I sold out of this share at 1.80. I am glad I did. You could not make up the saga this share has created. I managed to make up my loss with Purple Bricks. I did say that this share is doomed, all the clever money was leaving it. Some were deluded and defending the wonderful BOD. Sorry to say, you have all been shafted. It is not nice, but some were adamant this would come good, by getting attached to it emotionally.
Previously woody said banks were not investable............ I think he is not that great an investor, (unlike Warren Buffet, the Guru) his patient fund is valued below the initial offer price. I am in big with RDSB 17668 shares, bought in various tranches. I am very happy to hold them, as well as enjoying the dividend, over £5k yesterday. Oil will eventually recover, it will not stay low forever.
I am a lot clued up about this company than you think. I do not share yours or gumpies optimism or enthusiasm, or any other resident rampers. II also get it wrong. You are clutching at straws, clinging onto any news, which as you know from the RNS`s have been lousy. It is jam tomorrow, which never comes. The problem as I see it, a lot of small PI`s are trapped with this company and do not want to realise a loss. You dislike any poster who actually posts some home truths. Your loss, which will grow bigger by the day. SGH did me a great favour, by buying the PSD, and let me get out at breakeven.
Too true, you can only ramp this share on this board, then you are welcome. Holders can hold this share forever if they want, I ain`t bothered. I held this from 2014 to December 2016, brokeven after all that, loads of stress. Pulled out money in December 2016, and made several thousand in profit on trading other shares. I do not see any future in this company, the directors would be better of to sell everything and call it a day.
That is the answer, the directors are always in a closed period. The token buys they made initially was to make the company look good in the eyes of the investors. No share purchases after that. They have made enough out of the salaries they pay themselves.
Glad I got rid of this pathetic share at 185p in December last year. It is one share I would not revisit despite the optimism of some of the posters here. The resident rampers can ramp this as much as they want, yet it goes down. The facts speak for themselves.
The current range is 1880 to 1975. US is drawing out of inventory, stock are coming down slowly, each week.
Well done, you know it makes sense. The oil price is not dropping to large extents as previous, as the market is forward looking, then we should start to price in a rebalance. I have a holding which is giving me more than 18k profit, however, prices I bought them are sometimes once in a life opportunity, and I prefer to hold them for income, in my SIPP account. I did sell my trading pot, and bought back on Monday and Tuesday.
I think the dividend is key to the price of the share, after all, the board has stated to maintain the divi for this year. Hopefully, the price of oil will recover sometime before year end. I am happy to buy below £18.
Oil prices surge 6%, WTI climbs above $33 on upbeat shale outlook The International Energy Agency said in its medium-term outlook on Monday that U.S. shale oil production was expected to fall by 600,000 barrels per day this year and another 200,000 bpd in 2017.
Anyone know what the dividend in GBP is? This conversion information was/is due on 04/12/15 Thanks
I am buying RDSB. I have 2 trading accounts, one has 3449 shares of RDSB, 11231 shares in BP and 2000 shares in BG My other account has 3712 shares of RDSB. I am happy to hold them all, enjoy the dividends and then my bus stop will come. Where else am I going to get a decent dividend from?, even if they do cut it, which is unlikely. If they drop further I will buy.
Have sold the lot today, at 374.5. Now looking for a drop.
I will sell half, on Thursday, and then keep the other half for insurance for Friday, if they go up then I will hold them, if they go down I will buy back.
Friday update, anything to do with it. Maybe numbers are good?
