I think the smart investors sold their rights as soon as issued,then just wait for that share price to tumble,then use the cash to buy up some very cheap shares,at a cost of nothing.

Not worth moaning about it...the smart people sold the rights in order to buy when the sp dropped below £5....just wish I'd continued on to it earlier,that's the reason why the sp keeps falling.

I'll certainly be waiting and not comitting to anything until the 11th hour......it's looking like you may get them much cheaper after the rights issue drop.

Like I said...a dead duck...and what's to say it won't happen again....I really can't see how this will attract extra investment,especially at this price....trading at an optimistic £16 ,can anybody seriously think this will hit £32???

Mary I see your point,however I to see it as a shafting for long term holders. Any prospective dividends would be a fraction of a fraction of what they previously would have been . I've got a feeling that long term holders will be feeling rather sick,seeing that it is highly likely that their investment has been wasted, and possibly wiped out by the looming recession, and war in ukraine. I can't for the life of me see how tui expect to attract further investment, but hey ho,onwards and upwards.

Seems a bit of a swizz when they pay dividends again though doesn't it?
