RE: Another pay rise?13 Jul 2025 13:46
For what it is worth.
Read my positive and negative posts over the last 5 or so years.
Not a ramper or otherwise just a shareholder.
Find it a little bizarre that tidallover bailed giving is consistent links to being positive.
Also do not get why everyone is so negative about a share over the last 5 years that did hit the heights of 30p at a time when we thought Uskmouth would be a pellet burning plant.
Imo now based on what we have seen, where we are as a nation and generally with energy.
Medium to long term this SP will rerate solely because they have totally repurpsed the Usk site to a Battery and energy park that will also grow.
The tidal business will grow also - whether or not SAE or new company is involved is another thing. Would like to think they will be but at the moment this could be seen as probably 50/50.
Neat term the BESS project should give the company the financial support in income to ensure long term viability.
Let's cut to the chase the UK needs more ways to CREAT energy from other forms and BESS offers a energy potential to save energy into the BESS system for on demand electricity.
This will always make cash irrespective of what assumption we have solely based on electricity demands in the UK now and also beyond 2030.
The requirements for EV s along with other electricity demand imo puts the company in a very good area as long as they can get the scheme done on time, to budget and retain a cash positive situation regarding what they are owed.
For the company to then have their own BESS online in a few years is simply a cash ow that will imo give the company the lucrative and steady cash flow that will assist with other schemes going forward.
My concerns are as follows.
- GBE not assisting and getting MeyGen going via CFDs
-MeyGen potential cash drain if financial close is not in place as per Proteus and other business partners.
- Not getting the Meybess consents to build and start the project etc in a timely manner
-BESS at Usk. If targets for financial are not hit
The key dynamic for the company at the moment is income and short term they need to concentrate on BESS.
Waged and increases.
Not happy. However it's not my company and if in the comings months there is positive news with SP going north of 4p then this is what we need.
Like so many I did not bail when I should have and I am still negative but I do see myself getting the return at some point where I can exit to lick my wounds.
