What i don't understand is why the CEO was so positive on the 'Future of Foods' pod 3 months ago, makes no sense even going on the show!

Am I missing something?

JM has kept the NAV down the past 3 quarters. IMO he could have raised it but would look shady considering th SP. This as I understand means Shellbay get nothing this year. Can't be fairer than that

@Peterrr. What do you mean with dilute to nothing? JM is the largest share holder, how could this benefit him?

As for Vitrolabs if investments dilute the holding the value of the holding should still be the same, only failings in the company will cause a write down. The youtube video suggests it maybe was a hasty write down and that next year the valuation could be back on track if not increased.

Or am I just an optimist?

Im with JJmac believing in the opportunity. I will continue to buy more every paycheck, if it fails I will lose some savings, if it succeeds I will retire to Sweden to live by the lakes

They have had 4 rounds totalling 45m pounds ($57million) . Agronomics position is is an investment of 7.6million pounds

If you assumed they funded each round equally then this would be holding 17% but I would think that they had larger % in the early rounds. So they probably hold closer to 20% after dilution in the last round.

This would have the ANIC valuation at 9million but the write down due to information we don't have they have it at 5% of that (0.42m)

ANIC still hold approximately 20% but ANIC are valuing Vitrolabs at a fully audited 2.1million

Didn't take long, this was in the last NAV report. Seems like JM is a little annoyed at something!

@Peterrr. if Vitro recapitalised, surely this would dilute the holding as a percentage but increase the valuation of the company. Normally this would not write down the value in pounds much if at all!

To my best knowledge ANIC wrote it down to almost nothing, cant back this up though. Need to dig deeper I think

Vitrolabs is strange to me, ANIC has written them down but I listened to this on youtube and it seems they are doing fine. Maybe they are in denial

Probably none really, maybe to help short term awareness but would that help JM get out of a hole. Certainly not.

Now when its up to 50p/100p then it would be well worth having a team with a larger budget to get the final price to Maximum

I agree with Peterrrrrrrrr, There is nothing for them to promote, they could push a media campaign and increase the price to 8p maybe. As its a VC very dependent on the individual companies its more valuable to help move them forward than create a buzz around the stock. JM is averaging 18p after the initial offering, he is going nowhere until the price rises organically. In all fairness he will probably hold until each company list or busts.

The best thing JM can do is go to Indiana and help the project manager finish Liberation Labs on time, this will help the portfolio companies to scale. When the stock starts to exceed NAV due to profitable portfolio companies, then that will be the time to promote.

For the record the past 2 days sells imo were to small to be Black Rock. Also the past 2/3 weeks has been more buys than sells. Tuesday was the best this year and Wednesday was this fortnight

Ali7002 as much as you are correct to a point there is still a buy and sell point based on price. Buys obviously drive the price buying 10million on the higher side is very relevant

the 2x 5million trades were definitely buys, were done in the middle of the day so its clear (reported end of the day). Also trying to hide Gabrins 8:05 move, clear underhand move in action. lol

Assuming the 2x 5millions were the same person (mad coincidence if not). This is worth almost 1% of the company, this would be the largest move in the past 2 years, maybe even 3!

Black Rock I'm sure was over 2 weeks ago, is this the grass roots now? On one hand it would be good to see some confidence in the market, on the other hand my monthly buys will get less value.

Cont... To follow on from earlier when I gave up on my phone

The past 2 weeks have mainly been more buys than sells but only small scale so not moving the needle. Today though was by far the largest positive day for some time.

For the first time now I feel that we can see impacting news in the portfolio, previous years its been funding rounds but last week All G got approval in China and expect approval in US early next year. They have stated that they will use Liberation labs to scale in the US. This is a double whammy for 2 of ANICS largest assets. Meatly we were all hoping would start to make strides this year but scale up is slower than expected so maybe end of next year or 2026 more realistic, this is another of the larger holdings.

I'm sure liberation labs wont be ready till end of next year as all timelines in this portfolio seem to constantly slip but to be operational and instantly supporting the another portfolio company is genius from Jim.

Personally I cant see the stock going private BUT if you thought that were the case then its an easy buy, JM would need 50% (current around 25%) to do this. If he did the share-price would rocket before being able to go private. Black rock sold 2% and the price dropped 2p, imagine what purchasing 25% would do!

I have said for a while that in my very unprofessional opinion the SP will sit till after xmas (liberation labs is key to this) and by the end of 2025 it will be closer to NAV (whatever that is end of the year, possible around 25p).

Welcome aboard Cyberbub. Here's my take o the only stock I really focus on, I'm not expert on anything but have been following closely for the past 2 years.

The NAV i believ is very realistic, the portfolio companies in general have strengthened and the larger investments are all positioned quite well. 1 or 2 have been written down but that should not affect the NAV due to others strengthening. I said before the NAV release that they would report about 16p although it's probably worth more.

I believe Black rock is finished., after they went below 3% there was about 4 weeks of multiple 1million share sells that looked to me to be Black rock releasing the final 30million.

So far

33million raised in equities

25million loan

30 million equipment loan

leaves 27million short but when near completion should be able to secure next government backed loan

As I understand (just from reading various articles but not a single reliable source). Liberation labs is in a position to receive loans for completion. Equipment loans are already granted, not sure how much if anything they need to complete.

The good thing about having loans is it does not dilute the share holding of ANIC.

The 1.4million award to is create plans to upscale when phase 1 is finished. You'd assume the award is given based on the belief that phase 1 funding is all place.

The vision is to have 6 global sites all producing 4million tonnes (per year I think). Phase 1 will be 600,000

Just looked at Livekindly, wow. WTF happened there. Initial investment was 2.3 million, Jan valuation was 4.4 million and now its a wellness hub. Some segway! Be interseting to see what the new valuation is

Really good news from what looks like ANICs 3rd largest investment. I dug a little deeper and found the following article from October.

Seems they were hinting at China in the article, but another interesting take was that they are expecting US next year and then to use Liberation labs to help scale up.

From where I'm standing JM looks like a visionary, it will be no surprise if this time next year these 2 positions are the most advanced in sales and a valuation higher than the current valuation of ANIC.

Another positive story that weren't even on my radar!
