So annoying that the article says Pets at home is the largest investor. ANIC @ 38,7% is surely the largest!

I had no problem with the lack of marketing due to the portfolio needing more time, this was until I saw the Mosa meat crowd funding. 2.5million euro would have been wiser invested in ANIC but how many of these people knew they had an option? IMO that's 30million shares (estimate) that have NOT been bought by a demographic looking to buy!

This makes no sense to me. I know Mosa meat quite well and love where they are at BUT it will take years to see a return.

ANIC on the other hand is a diverse portfolio, 28% of NAV (no discount at MM), also has a hand in Cultivated meat but has other strong holdings to start to realise profit.

Also can sell when you like, pretty sure this will not be an option at MM until the list which is probably 5 years away.

Good luck to MM but there is no case to argue that its a better investment, today than ANIC

This is JMs baby and he stands to make a fortune if the SP reaches 100+ so not sure why you think he will bury it.

Anic has more than 8% ownership in 7 of the remaining 26 companies. All 7 are moving forward well. If only these 7 companies survive then the NAV should be about 20p in 2 years. This does not include Formo, Solar foods, Every which are all moving forward nicely. Longer term Supermeat, Meatable, Blue Nalu big potential/valuations.

I don't think its fair to hate on a reduce NAV as it means no payment to Shellaby. It feels to me that as the SP is so low JM wants to do the right thing (or am I just nieve).

Geltor was written down in the audited June24 numbers (released Dec), not sure why that was not in the November NAV!

As OP said Solar foods is now more transparent and a correction is OK. The next NAV will be higher as Lib labs valuation will increase.

All G is already cheaper than normal supply and as for Farmers they have no voice in middle east and other countries that lack food security.

It will take decades before supply would need US/Europe.

There are challenges in the portfolio but Lib labs i believe is not one of them. They can be profitable from year 1 which will value them at around 300m+ with no more investment. This will mean with ANIC holding approx 40% their slice will be approx 100m in 1-2years time. This is 10p real value on the SP, this is based on my schoolboy, thumb in air estimates.

This is a lowball number considering with potential to be a lot more. This is without even considering All Gs valuation or the lab grown meat (slow burner imo).

In a nutshell 4p is way to low and as I've said before it will be close to NAV by Christmas (just an opinion), good luck finding another stock that will 4x this year. Please no hindsight predictions

Lib labs floating is an interesting concept. They intend to open more sites globally and the faster the better due to current global upscaling issues. Each site costing 125m (inc equipment) would mean significant investment and pre ordering reactors.

As Neom are now on board I can see the second site moving quickly in the middle east, with Neom funding. So no need to float for that BUT if they want to go to China and Europe asap then floating early next year to raise capitol could make sense.

Although you cant move so quick as the reactors/equipment would need to be ordered and I can imagine multiple year lead-times for these already . Very tricky call, 4 new sites tomorrow would be perfect but what's possible? I'm sure JM wants the others breaking ground asap, projects certainly in the pipeline

I'm interested in your opinion on this as it s a bit above me this next level investor sell off! Surely that's all that ANIC is in the first place!

Just a wild guess but do you think the Insider bridge note of 19million was JM?

As for the delays I believe that the construction timeline is probably moved due to equipment manufacture rather than not being ready. The reason why JM wanted this built was due to not enough reactors in the world to kickstart upscaling, I would assume with this in mind timelines for reactor + equipment are longer than expected with possible delays.

My opinion is that if the equipment was ready by June then so would the building be.

also interesting that NEOM is involved, plenty of money there and they wont care what Donald thinks

@Peterr, half finished factory do you men Lib Labs? 90m raised from 115m equipment order of 30m in process, have some belief in the process.

@Kuentai. Shiok is only a small holding but was written down to zero in June.

Vitrolabs is strange, written to zero in June. October youtube vid when CEO was bullish. Now google says factory closed and street view has no cars outside. I'm leaning towards finished

Not sure what news next week could hurt the price more but again this week has seen more sells. Im not sure if im just missing something or everyone else is BUT IMO the following are worth 4p alone and should start to show growth/profit end of this year

It's important to understand what makes up the valuation. 30 companies with varying investments.

6 are now dead of which 1 was a big loss, approx 5% of invested capital.

This leaves 24 companies of which some of the largest invested are advancing nicely.

Research the holdings, ANIC is just a vehicle for these.

Any stocks you believe in for 2025? Or just only negativity?

Id say the main catalyst will be Liberation labs, expect that Q3 imo. The facility will be oversubscribed immediately and i expect preference will be for portfolio companies. All G for example is ready to go.

There will be small wins before that but to date these have not affected the price, that being said in theory at some point all the small wins added should shift the price.

Formo for example is in German shops, upscaling with loans (no dilution), new products ready. This suggests that ANIC holding should be more than the listed 9mil (June24)
