Throughout the reporting period and beyond, the Company's Dhaka-based team has maintained contact with the relevant government agencies and there is credible evidence that the "new plans" cited by the Honourable Prime Minister are being framed and that such plans are addressing domestic coal extraction and exploration efforts for new gas. This is exciting news for the Company, the Project and its Shareholders and efforts are being made to ensure we are in the strongest position to engage with the newly elected government within the 1st Quarter 2024 and deliver the Project Proposal which includes a large-scale Solar Power Park as an adjunct.

Suspension and annual report

As announced on 28 December 2023, the Company's shares have been suspended from trading on AIM pending completion of an ongoing funding event and release of the Company's financial statements for the year end 30 June 2023. It is anticipated that the Company's delayed financial statements will be announced on 29 January 2024.

Further updates on the lifting of the suspension of trading in the Company's shares will be given in due course.

Interesting they have decided to call themselves Polo investments limited.

GCM Resources plc, an AIM quoted mining and energy company, announces that it today received a notice from Polo Investments Limited ("Polo"),

As far as I know the compnay is still called Polo Resources, unless tang has changed the company name.

So just like Polo resources shareholders we've been screwed by Tang.

Can't say I'm surprised, never trusted him.

PowerChina are still onboard and obviously committed to the proposed project.

They must think Hasina will eventually back down and approve the project.

Best outcome for the company would be too attempt to sell the license to Powerchina if they are still interested in the project.

I think a big problem is that the Bangla Government don't want GCM to be involved in the project.
