i'll stick with 2.92 thanks
HH-2z's expected total measured depth is around 5900 ft from rig floor, of which c. 3200 ft is planned within the reservoir's sweet-spot. 3200 feet in nigh on 1km. Yes I can see this bursting 1000bopd comfortably
Argh the rogue trader hypothesis. The Bouygues probably thought they could make a packet by getting into UKOG early and potentially mounting a takeover should BB have gone smoothy. Being a big investor they were prob in the "know" as to outcome of BB long before your average punter and duly offloaded. That's my take
There are a lot of people (me included) that believe SS has played down the HH numbers in order to accumulate the larger holding "on the cheap." The numbers from the flow rates during initial well test back in 2016 through a 1" choke were akin to those being now being stated as being possible from the horizontal portland and the numbers for the kimm were around 900 bopd (albeit over a 7 hr period only). So its no wonder people saying it can flow more. Unless we are already looking at true depletion of reserves during a well test in which case we're fxxxxx.
They will flow the sidetrack first. Then CPR. SS has stated this
Ageee with someone accumulating. Been going on for weeks. If someone / firm with real Money 3% will take some doing but if it happens the tr1 could be the catalyst this needs to take it stratospheric again!
Good luck 1p entry. Seems to me that YA are reluctant to convert large volumes in a falling market as this fizzles away any profit they make on the conversion under the 90% 5 day MWAP terms. Indeed the last conversion was the lowest amount convertible under the terms. I'd hazard at the sudden change in SS tact to update the marker regularly is an attempt to try to create a market that encourages conversion so the debt can be cleared. So far I have seen nothing that suggests this will "death spiral" below 1p and beyond. There seems to be as much of appetite for large buys at this level as well as sells thanks to YA which are limited to 15% of the daily volume any case.
Unlikely to be busting a 1 billion MCAP quite that soon. Holding steady at 4-5p would be fantastic in the next 6 months.
they will apply to increase the allowance IMO
or indeed a short swampy penguin

The waters are a bit muddy wrt the HH1z Kimmeridge plans. From what I can gather there was a decision back in Sep 18 to deviate from a second vertical Portland well to a horizontal side-track and this has now take precedence over the HH1z plans. Portland being the more "conventional" I think this is probably a good move. It does appear however that there are still pans to drill HH1z at a time TBC.
11 Jun 19 RNS "To facilitate both safe drilling and coring of HH-2/2z through the Portland, to provide continued oil sales revenues and further valuable test data prior to drilling HH-1z, preparations will include switching test production to the deeper Kimmeridge oil pool. Further necessary logistic and administrative arrangements for the arrival of the drilling rig and associated services are scheduled to be finalised this week"
10 SEP 18 RNS: Given the knowledge of the Portland's true flow potential, plans are now being formulated to drill either the HH-1z sidetrack or HH-2 new drill as a horizontal Portland appraisal well, with a targeted* sustainable daily production rate of 720 to 1,080 bopd, 2 to 3 times the forecast calculated* HH-1 vertical well rate of 362 bopd. All planning permissions, Environment Agency permits and the HH-2 well cellar are in place for a horizontal well. If successful it is envisaged that all future Portland production will be via horizontal wells.
Logging done! Drill rods going in. If he fked about getting the rig he not fuxing about now!
20.5k and 14K amount to 15% of todays total. An even day today would be a result.
Punters taking there winnings today it seems. will we see any action today? MMM
By relatively new I was thinking along the lines of 10 years. I accept it may be longer but I can imagine these type of technologies get better with time.
I’m no expert but this is relatively new technology and will be used to ensure that the horizontal drill stays wholly within the sweet spot. I think the figures from this drill might surpass even target figures. Imo
If MF saying no that’s a sure fire indicator “they” will
Do the maths on what happens when you convert at 90% VWAP and sell at an average of -10% of that VWAP figure vs +10% the difference is substantial profit or nothing so if a was YA and the news and potential was and is what it is I think I’d be selling into rises. Indeed that does appear to be what they are doing.
