Starting to head up now. Hopefully close above 130p. Up on a down day for the Markets too is nice
Good set of results really and continued growth carying on. Solutions the standout here growing at a good clip optimistically could see £50mill in revenue just from solutions this year at the top end. Will continue to see benefit from European expansion. A 1p dividend also a nice bonus. Hardly a mention of strategic review so goes to show they are more focused on the running of the business as is
Yeah didn't say I thought it was good advice. Just that they were most likely advised. I am in agreement that putting yourself up for sale leaves you on the back foot. But we are where we are and 2 potential bidders is more favourable for a higher price and 140p will not get a deal done in my opinion
I'm assuming the strategic review was based on advice they were given by brokers e.c.t who though there would be good appetite for the company. At the time was due to market speculation I think they said. Now 2 potential deals to be made so would likely see a more favourable price I would think. If bids are low equals and shareholders can just walk away. I don't think a deal would be done at 140p with the current SP sitting at 123p
Didn't notice that the 50p spread is tighter than normal its usually 1-2p. Must be as the volume is higher lots of trades going on and good liquidity. Hopefully bodes well for a break to the upside as opposed to the downside.
Not really sure don't particularly understand most of the RNS forms but seems like goldman have disclosed a few trades due to connections with madison in line with take over rules.
Had some good volume yesterday over 2 million shares hopefully the same will continue.
Good start back after Easter break nice to see indeed maybe offer incoming soon
Hit 119p a few times today. Seems like volume has stayed up as well. Maybe some buying before Easter to get in and use up ISA limits and any remaining tax benefits.
After reading RNS seems like Towerbrook and Railsr want to buy equals. 2 potential bidders now. Maybe a little bidding war will ensue.
However after a quick Google of railsr I would hope equals stays well clear. Looks like they are a company looking for a buyer probably because the Private equity funders are fed up piling in cash.
Nice to see a little trading update. 28% growth rate is amazing and if it continues as the board expects will see well north of 100mil revenue this year.
Rns reads well as though the board want to put too rest any concerns about the strategic review affecting the ongoing running of the business too.
Had some bad advice from advisors for sure. Going out asking if someone wants to buy is never a good idea. I strongly believe shares would be much higher now if strategic review hadn't happened in the first place. But here we are. Just a waiting game now. Would be nice to get a bid for some quick cash but would also be happy if nothing materialised as long term company has some bright prospects
Would be nice was thinking around 1.60-1.80 for an offer would be realistic but who knows
Seems to be drifting down a bit at the moment. Results are still month away. So maybe good time to top up. In the mean time it's just a waiting game to see if a bid materialises.
Maybe will get an offer once annual results come out in the new tax year. But seems to be priced as though no offer will materialise. So I feel like limited down side here in the meantime as SP isn't much different to where it was pre bid speculation
Surely there isn't that much more due dilligance left to do. Seems to be no rush to make an offer but equals seems to be left in limbo in the mean time. Will use the depressed SP to top up where I can though.
Yeah would dip down a bit initially I think if no buy out but most likely rise back up above to current levels after the initial sell off. As was already getting above 100 before bid news. Would be a good buying opportunity I would think.
I'm of the opinion that any weakness is a good topping up opportunity. I would speculate that the continued extensions of the offer window suggest there is interest in the company so would expect a bid at some point. Why keep extending if discussions arent taking place? Happy to wait in the mean time though.
Didn't think I'd see the share price this low again. Will be topping up soon I think.
