Turkey: Pinarova-1 95/8 inch casing set

UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that Pinarova-1's 95/8 inch casing is now set and cemented down to 287 metres below surface. In preparation for drilling ahead through the target Eocene Hoya limestone sequence, installation of the new wellhead and blow-out preventer ("BOP") assembly is now nearing completion. Drilling is expected to resume on schedule in the next few days following final wellhead and BOP pressure test.

It is planned to drill cautiously through the Hoya target zone and to open-hole test any zones where good live oil shows are encountered prior to reaching a total depth at around 550 metres below surface. UKOG's geologist will remain on site to identify and, hopefully, sample any live oil to surface within the newly enlarged mud-pits and to help describe Hoya reservoir geology seen in drill cuttings.

Pinarova-1, located 6 km north of the Basur-1 oil discovery, is designed to test a working hypothesis, supported by well and seismic data, that the active 41.7° API light oil seep found last summer in a seismic shot hole above the Pinarova structure, is directly fed by and connected to an underlying light oil accumulation of some 9 km(2) areal extent within the Hoya limestones, lying around 300-645 metres below surface (see RNS of 11(th) January 2023 and 30(th) June 2022).

UKOG holds a 50% non-operated interest in Pinarova-1 and the surrounding 305 km(2) Resan licence, which also includes the as yet undeveloped Basur-1 light oil discovery.

Sounds very good news to me (even if they did get them cheap), I would suggest they may even be adding to their holding.

Keras announces that it was notified on 13 April 2023 by Chris Grosso from Kershner Grosso & Co. ('Kershner Grosso'), a Saratoga Springs, New York State based Investment Advisor that it had acquired First Uranium Resources Ltd's (CSE: URNM) (KMMIF:OTC) ('First Uranium') entire holding of 8,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in an off-market trade at 2.5p per Ordinary Share. Post the announcement of 13 March 2023 stating that AxCap Ventures Inc ('Axcap') had sold its entire 5,610,000 shareholding in the Company, neither First Uranium nor Axcap hold a notifiable interest in the Company's issued share capital.

Chris Grosso will hold the shares on behalf of Kershner Grosso which manages in excess of USD400mn on behalf of its clients, investing in businesses in the junior resource sector which tend to be long-term in nature with Kershner Grosso providing ongoing support and guidance as dictated by each management group, until the full value of each asset is realised. Most recently, Kershner Grosso was the largest shareholder in Silvercrest Metals Inc, a Canadian precious metals exploration and production company headquartered in Vancouver, BC with its flagship asset Las Chispas Mine, in Sonora, Mexico. Kershner Grosso clients remain large shareholders in Silvercrest and have seen Silvercrest's share price grow from USD0.10 at the time of its spin out and initial private placement to its current price of over USD7.00.

The Keras Board is very pleased to have Kershner Grosso on board as a cornerstone shareholder. Kershner Grosso's investment philosophy is very much aligned with Keras's growth strategy in the US and the relationship is expected to provide access to new markets and opportunities throughout North America.

They've already given us a clue

"Immediately post the well reaching TD, the Nordic Callista Rig-2 will commence pulling out of hole and wireline logging preparations will commence. The logging program is expected to take between 5-7 days, after which the Hickory-1 well is planned to be cased and suspended. All operations, including suspension and demobilisation from the well site, are expected to be completed around mid-April."
