Don't know where I got got 1st Sept from but it's a relief knowing it's not until next year - I has this dread that the payment was looming and KRS had done nothing to rectify it.
It would be very welcome if future profits cover this final payment.
The UK government will not fight a legal challenge against the decision to grant consent to drill in untapped oil fields off Shetland and Aberdeen.
Greenpeace and Uplift jointly brought judicial reviews in an attempt to stop the development of the Rosebank and Jackdaw fields.
It comes after the Supreme Court ruled that a UK council should have considered the climate impact of new oil wells – setting a precedent for all regulators.
The government's decision does not mean the licences for Jackdaw and Rosebank have been withdrawn.
But if the judicial review backs the environmental groups, their operators would need to resubmit environmental assessments.
RE: It seems like it's heading for 1p23 Aug 2024 14:26
Well if this is heading back to 1p, when it gets there it will not be for long - It may be an opportunity for you to average down Michael and get your average much lower than 28p.
I for one will be on a buying spree, IF this ever gets back to 1p.

RE: "Genemadix cube established in American market!"16 Aug 2024 11:38
"As described in the responses above, the committee considered that tests that only detect the most common loss-of-function alleles may be more likely to introduce inequalities. The committee considered that the difference in alleles that the Genedrive and Genomadix tests can detect was significant and a reason to prefer the Genedrive test (as described in section 3.15 of the guidance)."
RE: "Genemadix cube established in American market!"16 Aug 2024 11:29
The committee considered the available evidence for the Genomadix Cube test and Genedrive test as described in the EAG’s report, which included 11 studies that provided data on test accuracy of the Genomadix Cube CYP2C19 test.
Section 3.15 of the guidance describes the committee’s rationale for concluding that Genedrive was its preferred point-of-care test. The committee noted that several features of the Genedrive test could offer advantages over the Genomadix Cube. For example, its reagents do not need to be stored in a freezer and it can detect several additional alleles including those that occur in greater frequency in some ethnic groups.
The committee also noted that the estimated cost per test for Genedrive was less than for Genomadix, and this remains true even when using the updated cost for the Genomadix test provided in these comments.
Slacker wrong - "The national genomic testing service is delivered through a network of seven Genomic Laboratory Hubs (GLHs), each responsible for coordinating services for a particular part of the country. The seven GLHs are: Central and South Genomic Laboratory Hub led by Birmingham Women's and Children NHS Foundation Trust."
