RE: Shorters and hedge funds12 May 2021 23:03
What gripes me is nobody forced these people to invest, yes I’m blunt but honestly I think unless you’re speaking with children, sometimes blunt just gets the job done. If you have been invested in something for three months and you’re panicking and selling it’s because A. Company fundamentals have changed and you’ve made a mistake (we all do it) or B. You didn’t do sufficient research, you’re now clamouring for reassurance from strangers and grinding down sentiment with no good reason.
It isn’t A because this company is fantastic. So if you’ve failed to do your research and you’ve jumped on the omg lambo Nasdaq train.. well I am sorry for your loss, but don’t invest with this thesis again.
I find the average investor psyche when it’s going right is as follows “I’m a special investor, I’m so talented at reading my pretty charts, I am brilliant”
When it isn’t going right “who made me invest in this???” “Where lambo??” “Why it down?” “This isn’t my fault it’s Peter!”
I’m fed up of childish halfwits pretending they’re investors. Do your research, if you’re not happy then you do not invest. There is no secret to investments.
