Argo is better positioned than most, at the least.

FP I don’t think anyone buying Argo right now are doing it for any other reason than Helios and the opportune future it provides for the business. Few if any will be buying because of previous performance, you’d think?

I suppose the longer term benefits of immersion will become clear in just that; the longer term for Argo. They may well consider revising their time frame for depreciation in the future?

Immersion improves performance and life span, they may well be not only working in five years, but they may well be working quite well?

I won’t pretend to fully understand the depreciation figures, it all feels vague and nonspecific with timeline of depreciation? In the very near future, won’t immersion slow down depreciation by extending life spans of our machines and increasing performance above and beyond their expected life span and performance? Surely that skews depreciation?

FP j think they’re OK, they’re not positive but they’re certainly not in the doldrums. We knew we’d mined less coins than we should have before these results, we know Helios fixes this because we don’t have any machines outside of our control.

They’re not positive, I don’t think anybody expected them to be because of the poor amount of coins mined. The amount of coins mined wasn’t a secret, the severe winter in Quebec for example as a factual reason already known. We know we’ve been beneath where we should be in terms of coins per EH anyway, never mind with the winter conditions causing shut downs in Canada ontop of it.

I haven’t confirmed anything, I haven’t confirmed his maths or trawled through discord history. IF your quote is accurate he’s factually stating that if Argo repeats historic performance they’ll be at £30. Are his maths correct? That statement isn’t a prediction of price. For example;

Jim wins the lottery after buying 100 tickets. He wins £10m. He states if history repeats itself he’ll win again in another 100 tickets. It isn’t a prediction or claim to say he expects he’ll have another win, he’s just saying if history repeats he’ll win again. What is your point?

What is your point? If you’ve made £2m I applaud that. According to you he posted that if Argo repeats historic performance we’ll be at £30, I haven’t checked the maths or the discord history. Has he said he believes Argo will be £30? I’d be amazed as he’s usually quite terrified about downturns and usually he’s quite negative or uncertain about argo.

For all I know or care, you may well be Dabby, it’s irrelevant, he’s only said *according to what you’re saying* that if historic performance repeats we’ll be at X. Nobody thinks Argo gets to £30 a share. Nobody has said this anywhere.

To be fair even if we see the 40s range again it doesn’t mean we don’t revisit our current position, i think the safest thing to do for me, is small regular buys of BTC & ARBK.
