I’m not bothered if you’re in the discord, I’m not sure why you think I am. I haven’t topped up Argo for a long time, never mind recently and I only opened a small position in corz, which as I said I’ve sold. MSTR is a totally different proposition, but I sold all of my MSTR on Friday at $226, for a 33% profit. I will be buying back into MSTR when it suits, I will not be buying back into miners. BTC I add to consistently, I do not sell BTC.

We’ve all got different strategies and that is ok. We’re in a very mature asset class and I don’t think we’ll really know the correct strategy for at least another 10-20 years.

As I’ve just explained, I think my sells speak volumes as to my thoughts on miners. I’ve not had any serious money in a miner since November. I did re open my position in Argo and when the global **** hit the fan it did cost me a small % of my original Argo profits.

Miners are not safe mostly because of external factors. If btc stays 10-20k for a couple years, it’s really pot luck as to which stay open.

Argo can’t expect to be taken seriously with such a shocking BTC/EH ratio. All miners offer up too many unknowns though, and too much risk. I sold the small corz position too just before it fell off a cliff, again by luck rather than judgement.

There a seems to be an assumption on LSE.. that lots of people have bought very high prices and just bought all the way down, for whatever reason? There will be a few I’m sure but very few have done this (to my knowledge.)

However any that have done this must be comfortable in their approach and I don’t really understand the obsession spaegbol and co have with trying to mock their approach, it’s not like there’s a time limit to achieving their target prices either. Sure with 20/20 hindsight it’s easy to say sell here but there and repeat, but it’s really rendered irrelevant if they’re right in the long term. For transparency I sold RIOT HUT & FARMS in November, completely by luck rather than judgement. My Argo position I closed at £1.45 SP, for 35% profit way back whenever, I bought back into Argo and closed that position for a smaller % loss of those profits. I do not believe it it safe to buy any miner anymore. As I’ve said before, for me it’s just about building a portfolio that will survive the bear market and bode well for the next bull market. Whenever that may be.

Rory unfortunately the RNS also goes on to explain the electricity costs have gone up. Doesn’t say anymore than that, but we know it obviously isn’t two cents anymore.

I think eventually BTC will match the market cap of gold. I’m not convinced that happens anytime soon though.
