We can finally start to hold gains for more than 1 or 2 days...! :D
That's what I make out, with a quarter of that being ours? The $7m figure?? Is that per annum or total?? She said the initial 500k has generated 200k for us, but didn't say if that was it or that was per year...
Job done. Now is the time to RFW to return the favour and bring back value to us "valued shareholders". Prove those doubters wrong. Good to see the markets took another liking to another positive RNS... It will be interesting to see what Snead does next after that dramatic failure.
This scared me when I saw "all resolutions were duly passed". Had to double check the important one is next week! https://www.investegate.co.uk/magnolia-petroleum-plc--magp-/prn/result-of-agm/20170712170322PF45A/
https://www.investegate.co.uk/magnolia-petroleum-plc--magp-/prn/update-on-acquisition-of-interest-by-ntog/20170706160844PF132/ So, this means that SOS will no longer own these shares in MAGP? And NTOG have made probably their best investment ;) I can't help but feel like that the last sentence was a parting / sarcastic shot. Good old Rita ;)
This is going to end flat / down today. I've had a tiny top up. Average down to 0.72p now. Fantastic RNS. Must admit, I was worried when I saw the 'Issue of Equity' headline. But Rita has pulled this one out. She's also tied herself in to this one as the contract is bound so long as there isn't a change in control. If she gets booted out, then WED have the right to cancel. In my view, the big rise will be seen after the AGM, if Rita stays. It has been subdued due to uncertainty. If she wins (my holdings are backing a Rita win!) this will (hopefully and finally) show some stability and vision as to where the company is headed. $18,500,000 is huge!! And a 29% stake in the company is nothing to be sniffed at, that's for sure. Snead, what's your next play...? I think Rita may have just earned her next year's salary right there...
But down already... :(
Thanks OM. I don't think he'd sue either, but just throwing a suggestion out there. Especially recently, you just don't know with this company!
I asked III for my forms :) may even purchase a few more. Feels like I have some power which makes a nice change :D Question for you all, what do you think will happen to the NTOG/Snead shares if Rita wins?? Will they try to remove her again?? Buy up more shares for a takeover, or cut their losses and run?? Could SS even try to sue the company/Rita for some reason?? They're the only options I can see...
Strong RNS from Rita. Wasn't expecting to read that at 17:30. I'm currently on Rita's side. But would like SS view...
If Rita gets the boot... As of 2 June 2017, a general meeting has been requisitioned by Steven Snead, Snead Family LLC, Snead Family 2012 LLC and R. Sterling Snead (the “Activist Shareholder”). Among the proposals as set forth by the Activist Shareholder is a demand for the removal of Rita Whittington as a director. Under the employment agreement with Ms. Whittington, approximately $350,000 USD will become immediately due and payable by the Group.
How exactly will this work? I hold my stocks with a nominee. Will they contact me? I've never had any say in anything with any of my stocks (not that I've ever needed to!) In Rita I trust...
well, this answers a few questions... http://www.investegate.co.uk/magnolia-petroleum-plc--magp-/prn/notice-of-requisition-of-general-meeting---update/20170609145015P696B/
Could someone explain what this means please?? Thank you
They must like these rumours...
I am the unluckiest investor there has ever been! Two stocks im in (SAR being the other) seem to be making great progress. The SP goes either sideways or down! Guaranteed the moment I sell (I'm not going to), the SP would explode!

Chr1s thanks for your time in this. Very interesting post. I will continue to watch on and see where the SP goes. There was a bounce from the 550p as I expected. Not normally one for shares of this size and MCAP, but need to start diversifying my portfolio a little!
Much appreciated Chr1s, thanks. I look forward to your views
