Has the been any mention of a specific date in February. Can't find one
I bought some yesterday and today. I seem to have this effect on shares that i buy
Is grrrrreat
Exactly. Fleccy has no interest in anyones responses. Pure agenda
Name that cream
Need something reet strong to get rid of this.
I don't understand why they don't just buy some still cheap imo
Very desparate post on advfn
"This company is making a loss, yes, and operates out of Italy where the mafia are rife?"
Fleccy now joins the list. Ignore the bb disruptors.
I don't do derogatory.
Firstly I think it is believed to be around 2140 when the last bitcoin will be mined.
You may be correct about the value of bitcoin. I don't have a crystal ball and people have been saying this for years.
Whilst there is value in mining there will be miners. I see the value in qbt in their picks and shovels approach selling chip agnostic software giving a sizeable percentage improvement. Any chip they use.
Your views really should be directed to big institutions that are investing or mining in bitcoin
They're the ones needing saving. While they're about so will qbt and in turn qbt investors
Once FG is using the quantum algos it is game over for all other miners so the mind boggles how many £ a qbt share will be worth
All bitcoin need mining even the first one.
3 January 2009, the bitcoin network was created when Nakamoto mined the starting block of the chain, known as the genesis block. Embedded in the coinbase of this block was the text "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks".
The mining process has remained essentially the same since the beginning. The difficulty has increased due increased mining activity.
As it gets more difficult faster machines and more energy is needed to win. Obviously some miners will fall by the wayside due to their strategy in remaining profitable or weathering crypto winters
It is some peoples opinion that winters will get less "cold" over time.
If regulation is introduced this may play a part in severity of winters
Just a waiting game
As fg says... It's a race. In the early days it was more of a hobbyist culture thing where less people were mining. As more cottoned on making it more difficult. This meant faster more specialist machines were needed using more energy which pushed out ordinary joe or joess
This is what qbt is all about for me.
Bitcoin mining difficulty increases, price increases qbt mops up.
Back then it was a lot easier to mine. Ordinary folk were doing it with home computers. Difficulty increased due to more getting in on the act as time goes by
I'd definitely get a reading from mr addison. Especially this time of year. Would be reet cheered up. Don't ever change.
The problem is that ther tends to be a massive influx of alternative negative views that are not sensible and in fact pure crud around the times of news and large swings in share price which is designed for agendas. Sometimes these views are easily identified as ill researched yet delivered confidence and attitude. I am and am sure others are happy to discuss my reasons for investing in qbt (one of the many good qualities of many on this board)
No way
Or "are we nearly there yet"
