Am actually quite pleased about this because I need to have confidence in what UBS are saying….this is a sensible target price given the known unknowns with Ukraine airspace - in meantime let’s crack on!

Thought a few weeks ago Varadi was having nervous breakdown - now we have a clear path to a sensible CEE air service and no silly expansion plans. If Russia’s war on Ukraine ends (even a diplomatic redrawing of borders) this will fly. Best to be in it to win

I like the report. Varadi has had to deal with so much crap. I look at the forced contraction as a positive move.

One thing for sure: if Wizz managed to circumvent all Ukrainian airspace they can easily avoid French airspace…no wonder Varadi has been frazzled…I am expecting easily 1150 by end of day tomorrow

Last time I looked you can still get home after the match at 2120 for sensible price (£92) but the problem is getting out there….seems you have to fly via Bordeaux or Wrocław. (Ezj or wizz respectively). Am also a nerd :) Basel is pretty awful in terms of connections….bus from train station to airport… Easyjet have almost legacy status at Basel….and could easily ask for extra landing slots.

I am missing the charisma of Jo Lundgren on BBerg. Whilst Kenton Jarvis is doing all things business perfectly, he is not doing a good job with press…it’s not his style. Sorry if this was a lame response but many great companies have failed to perform if their IR/media is wanting. One tiny splash of enthusiasm like putting on an extra couple of flights to Basel might help.
