So it looks like average EUR.GBP is .88 last few hours.
Tui ordinary shares finished in Frankfurt at 7.28 equivalent to 640p
TuiB shares finished in Frankfurt at 3.86 equivalent to 339p

DAX futures .1% up currently. So hopefully no more dropping.
Also keep an eye on Lang and schwarz (pre premarket trading open at0630 UK time.
If your broker is asking for £4 per new share they are seriously taking the pi**
Am sure there are plenty of brokers/HFS/MMs who literally filled their boots yesterday. There’s going to be a massive spread and I wish everyone the best of luck. And really I suspect it’s more foul play by international players than the Germans.

Long term this will stabilise and go up. Tui needed the money to get back onto course building hotels and building their future. But right now it looks like a perfect shafting for most PIs who can’t necessarily wait for the tanker to turn around.
Or indeed magic up the money for the new stock.

I would say buy the rights but fight for the right price.
Tui is a monstrously well oiled holiday machine and even if fewer UK citizens can afford their prices there are plenty in Northern Europe who can and will. What your Dad should not do is allow this to stop him sleeping or be pushed around.. Tomorrow is another day and if he can afford to, pick up the rights at a fair price.

I do not think what @fatherted’s Dad has been offered is fair. There appears to be a huge spread. Lloyds should help their more senior customers, instead of sending them messages which are alarming.

RIs are a pain in backside at best of times but when you are dealing effectively 4 stock tickers it’s enough to refuse to ever go on a `Tui holiday again.

What a cheek from Lloyds…..they are collecting cheap rights shares from German market…and selling them on to your dear Dad……

If you have 5 minutes to call the `Lloyds/`Halifax dealers I’d try and get a better price. And make them refund the voice trade.
