Sorry, I'd prefer dividend scrapped and buyback whilst the share price is so low. If it goes up to a fair value then dividend to be kept in line with profit so as to jot squeeze cash reserves

I would prefer the dividend to change and be covered by profit personally so as not to eat into cash reserves.

I'm hoping this year there will be no more cladding issues. I can't remember how much that cost (£150mill?) but a significant portion of profit last year.

I appreciate difficult conditions with costs rising and potentially house prices falling....but this is a profitable company with cash reserves. I've averaged down.

I guess the long term downward trend is why people are not buying to the fair value here? I was in prudential before and it was similar, although they really had a plan to change and price was hit by fears around China's growth, but proved a good share. I've sold out now though.

The risk of continued downward trend is here Iis real I suppose. But with a new factory in USA being developed and a certain weight loss drug coming off patent there seems to be a very good opportunity. Management seems to be stable with Darwzah taking on CEO and giving long term direction. More investment in R&D and longterm growth seems good. I guess the margins are lower. Still awaiting CFO after reshuffle?

But I'm very happy with a good dividend and longer term prospect here.

Forecasts are not always accurate, but lowest seems around 1350p. Will be interesting to see if analyst lower or not. Can't wait for the healthy dividend

My understanding is there is a natural 17-18 year economic cycle with housebuilding. This typically ends with a four year contraction. Assuming last crash was 2008/9 then we should start seeing the cycle repeat m, firstly with 7 years increase

This is investment so who knows.

Maybe Trump can't be trusted, but I think he generally does what he says. You have to ignore his exaggerated American way of speech-Come over to my house, does not mean come over to my house. But if you get past that he generally does what he says.

Objective here is clear. No nuclear weapons. Obama/trump hold that in common. A regime change is a bonus, not an objective.

USA have to stay there to stop the revenge capabilities of Iran for a few day/weeks and then they withdraw.

As for TW. Should be fine as markets settle. A few bonus buys here before it settles...IMO. hope the stock market bubble around AI doesn't burst here.

I've bought some more today. I only bought in fairly recently based on the weight loss drug coming out of patent next year. Seems a good price before the drop. But I guess the uncertainty is causing the lower prices. I'll trim ny holdings when it stabilises a bit higher. Shame really as was holding back that bit of cash for something else, but this seems like good opportunity at this price (imo)

Hi, I've bought into this because the patent for weight loss injections will end next year. I understood Hikma to be well placed. Seeing as Diageo and other alcohol beverages are losing out because of these injections it sounded interesting...does the change in policy mean it will no longer produce these?

This looks like a good prospect to me, but see the long termers here are concerned.

Im hearing the dividend should perhaps fall a bit and the cycle of house building is not positive?

So SAE have a 21% share in Proteus and supply parts so will profit from this, and presumably any other Counties/companies etc using these?

I hope supreme court see sense over car financing and give a balanced ruling. As probablky pointed out the irony is if there is a payout 50% will probably end up going to "No win, no fee lawyers" whose 50% fee is hidden in the small print of the contract...

Hi, I wlreally want to invest in renewable so have put some in here as a speculative stock.

To my mind it looks like debt is fairly high, but it's working. The land its on is worth quite a bit if it can be developed.

I thinks it's NAV May be up to 7p a share if the land can be developed? But this won't happen for a long time, and so how much debt will it get will it get in before then? That said, they can sell off land earlier to avoid the debt. Tell me if this is anywhere near accurate

As others have said, this feels like a defensive stock. I'm surprised it hasn't gone up with threats of trade wars. Can't wait to see its price change oer next few days and weeks. As long as the debt is managed then I'm in this for a longer term. Let the big companies who currently dislike renewable leave. Good opportunity I think.
