Observe, orientate, decide, act...17 Aug 2023 10:13
It always astonishes me that a few people think that they can manipulate the share price when they join a board of established investors, some who have been onboard for many many years and know new names when they crop up. However, these manipulators must believe that they have some track-record in success of manipulation, or some hope (or threat) to force their hand. These people will come and go (or their pseudo-names will change) and what will actually change the SP will be actual news from the actual people in the actual business.
I teach communications at post-graduate level and love to actually watch the individuals follow the well-trodden path of hoping they can furnish their own requirements, or those of their masters, with their words. Sometimes, it can even be of use as examples in my lessons.
Should you believe someone with a few hundred posts spread over several forums who has recently popped up on this forum, or await news from official sources once they have everything in order? Yes, there may be things going on in the background, but that is the nature of business (or the military, after me serving almost 2 decades in that world). Rumour is just that, rumour. Opinion is just opinion without facts. Lives are changed on fact, fortunes made or lost, and you have to wait for the facts, however long it takes. Up until that point, you can observe and orientate your plan. Only then can you decide and act, based on facts.
Focus on and listen to where you think credibility comes from - the rest is just background noise...
Me? I just keep topping up where and when I can with SAR shares as I believe in the official facts I've heard and done background study into. By this time next year, I'll be mortgage free in my £1million+ home in the countryside - all calculated on fact. If SAR do as expected, I'll also have my own WW2 Spitfire. Facts for the win! :)
