looking for a bit of assistance please am a holder of SXX shares, had a quick look at RNS' but am at work so cannot read thoroughly, do we have to do anything today ie register etc thanks for any info...gl all
For me its stick it out to the end and hope for £1 to £2 per share and maybe a small divi...need this one to come up trumps after the ukog and monitise fiascos...if its making more pa than in the bank (which im sure it will ) then im not complaining...each to their own but I can see the appeal of cashing out with a decent profit....bird in the hand and all that...GLA to all whatever their strategy...stickapinin
have to commend you for sticking by your friend, if he lost money then that is most unfortunate...but we all win and lose at this game, after all it is our choice to press the buy and sell buttons...must admit though dont know how you can comment on my stocks...some people have made a lot of money out of ukog....
'still down 1500 plus here not holding any other stocks apart from glen, day traded pfc today made 300 plus after commission, all in my isa all helps'........think you wrote this on the glen board last thursday....no ukog, so why are you here?....what logic are you using to trash this share?....
b*ll*cks!! - do i regret selling - seem to be able to pick the trough to sell and the peak to buy - wish for once could get it the other way round - gl to all in - do people think it will go much higher?? - thanks
thanks for the info - will probably regret selling now - gla
hi - am i missing something but what is the sudden attraction with drago today - any comments appreciated, thanks
hi - i ve got dgo shares and was unaware that any divi was due or being paid - will it be put into myTD account or will they notify me in some other way? any help or comments would be appreciated - apologies for being a divi (excuse the pun) - thanks
as usual looks like i got it wrong again and am talking cr*p!!!!
thanks for the comments - not replied earlier as ive been scared to look! will hold on for a bit as i dont need the cash at present - its touched 600 before so hopefully will do at some time again (hopefully sooner than later) - good luck all
has anyone any idea why this is dropping so much (locked in @572 and wondering if i'll ever get out!) any comments appreciated thanks
all the best thanks for the comments and advice, think this will be a bit of a 'slow' share to say the least. - good luck!!
thought this share had a lot of potential, seemed to make progress - all looked good, sp up , potential buyout etc then down, down again etc as a 'newbie' have i missed something - why the sudden lack of interest, is this the calm before the storm (not losing faith-just questioning it) - any comments would be appreciated - good luck all
this might be a stupid question but this share does not seem to reflect the 'good' news that is repeatedly released - in my (admittedly very limited) knowledge it ticks all the right boxes and appears to be in an excellent position but the share price will go up a tad then followed by a retrace. am i missing something or do you think this will kick up a level (i just feel if this had been another share for the amount of good news it would have increased more) please feel free to shoot me down (ps not losing faith, just questioning it) - good luck all!!
thanks for your thoughts - as a new trader a lot of it goes over my head but I am slowly beginning to understand bits of it - good luck
Can understand that a fall in profit is not the best news but with the current economic climate to be in profit , have cash at the back of you, a full order book and what seems like ( to a thickie like me!! ) a solid, safe company base this type of news cannot do too much damage can it? (as long as it stays 30+ I personally think its on the right track.
looks like things are looking up - looks like (hopefully) we could be on a winner (more by good luck on my part I feel than good management) - hope we all do well out of this. GLA
many thanks for the info and advice - you can't beat experience, I will have to keep it slow, learn and do my homework - and no I dont chose them by sticking a pin in , that is what was said by someone when I said i was going to have a go at a couple of shares and the name seemed appropriate for my level of inexperience! many thanks again - good luck to everyone!!
sorry folks to go a bit off topic but as a complete novice is there any rule of thumb or guidelines that you follow when investing a bit of cash, i dont mind saying that when i've saved approx £500 from the day job i will do a deal, should i keep another 500 cash as back up to 'average down' as you call it or would you do another dealany info or advice about this or where to do any company research would be most appreciated - thanks (apologies for being a complete pain in the ar*e novice)
some decent buys again, hopefully this gradual increase (i know it has dropped a tad today) will carry on - I would assume a slow increase is better than a big jump then plateau etc - I'm sure I'll be corrected if this is is wrong
