Agree I am tending to think that way now through rereading all the statements. The directors are making and emphasizing how bad everything is in and telling shareholders to take 30p. It stinks to be honest when realistically with the amount of work wood are winning (I know the business well and work with them everyday) it’s doing better than the Bilfingers et all. There is absolutely no reason they can’t become profitable over the next 12 months and service the debt. F in why not just list on the nasdaq, invest in some AI software call chatgroupwood and the company would be worth trillions, they could raise billions and pay off all the debt

Yes agreed i think we will open above 30p with an initial spike higher if this ever relists then it will hover between 28-30p unless speculation of another bidder comes in. However on a few cases in the past Proactis for example the price kept going higher than the current offer price as other bidders where building a position on the sky and everyone was saying why is the price 45p when the offer was 35p. It eventually went for 90p following an undercover bidding war. Same thing could well happen here so if the price is 40-50p here and the offer is still 30p you will know why

Hi gang that sounds more like it. Can’t buy any below the offer of 17.2 at the moment and large premium offered for sells. I wonder if there is some stake building taking place. This has to be a huge potential for multi bagger now especially with the tariff news over the weekend

In addition a (although this is speculation) Indus gas is going to have to expand to meet the supply needs and I reckon the GOI might invest in Indus gas for expansion and drilling in the coming years

Surely this should tip the Indian Gov to sign the PSC now, this is exceptional news for indias own oil and gas companies as they will have to be fully utilized to the max, role on the next few months:

Not when the last offer was well over £2 and 20p was only hit due to forced selling before the share was suspended. I do think 30p is the end game unless suspension is lifted and stake building begins to push the price to 50-60p

The whole premise is if suspension is released!! It might not be I agree with that in fact I’m more of the opinion sidera will want this suspended until the deal is completed exactly because of my points

I have seen many time the share price rise above the offer price as the institutions want to keep the voting rights. It might well spike much higher than 35p on open due to the following reasons:

1) shorters 4% will want to close at minimal loss invade of other bidders showing hand

2) institutions don’t want to let the company go so will add and build further voting rights

3) suspension is now over and no risk of further suspension due to asset sales sorting debt requirements out until October 2026 and even past this as hundreds of listed companies have more debt than WG and less revenue! Realistically it should be easy enough to refinance

4)other bidders will potentially build a stake in the company as this is how they will get more power to take control of Wood Group!

I’m expecting a 35p open with a spike to 50p
