blader/ ive been investing/speculating for over 40 years, call it what you like but its not gambling. I have never set myself silly goals,if i beat inflation i am happy. I have loved it from day one,ive made loads of mistakes,its been a long learning curve and i understand your feelings. Maybe investing monthly in a index fund like Vanguard would be less stressful for you but you should have some exposure to equities.

i wouldnt be surprised if we didnt join the Nasdaq. We do a lot of business in the states and our link with Stanford Uni(which is the top Uni for AI in the states)would help drive sells. We will have duel listing,keeping our FTSE listing. Tremor, which i sold earlier in the year did a similar move.

It looks like there has been some late buying. Those who bought the" placing" at 750p must be upset,although they are probably topping up at these prices

I wouldnt be surprised if we get a update within a few weeks,i think the management would like to stabilise the SP. It would be nice to see one of the big ii like Schroders take a position. Maybe if we get some clarity on the ML situation,they might do so

Its not only cybersecurity which is getting a kicking,many growth stocks are falling,probably due to a feared hike in interest rates, Its unlike the Americans to be worried about losing money they are normally more concerned in getting market share/land grab. Charles/i have been buying and i will continue to buy if the SP falls. When i buy unto something its normally for at least 5 years.I do top slice at times. I am not interested in short term SP movements ,i only see it has a buying opportunity. I only sell when the fundamentals change. The UK and the FT100 needs DARK to be a success,which i am sure it will be. In fact i like it more now then when i first bought in

You dont gain anything until you sell. You dont lose anything until you sell. Just ask yourself will this go back to £10, once the uncertainty of the ML case is over and we have a good update,i am sure it will and we will all be back in profit. Those of us that feel this has no future can sell up and move on

Ramping or de-ramping , wouldnt make a blind bit of difference to the SP of this £3bn business. If someone upsets you,just use the Filter

In my opinion the SP drop has been caused by the market "pricing in" a interest rate hike. Many growth stocks have come off,there is nothing wrong with the business. The big worry is inflation especially with the supply chain,these things pass in time. The truth is no one know if this is going up or down in the next few weeks,so why do people pretend they do

neilh/ you wouldnt have Darktrace if it wasnt for ML. ML has been saying the same thing for 10 years.basically we lack investment and are unable to monitise our ideas. In my opinion ML is brilliant and should be given a leading role in government,hes a wealth creator

The market hates uncertainty,so the ML case has been a negative. After 11 years it looks like the HP case against ML is coming to an end with a decision by the Home Secretary. I just wish she would get on and make that decision so we can all move on. Having been a shareholder in Autonomy,Blinkx,Rhythmone and now DARK,i have followed this from day one. For what its worth,i think ML is going nowhere. If they want to seek justice,we have a perfectly good legal system here.

claire/ the BoD are there to run the company,which they are doing well. They have no control over the market or the fluctuations in the SP. The business ,like every other will live or die on its earnings/profit. That is why companies prefer ii,they invest medium/long term,pi wet their pants,if it goes down 20%.
