Pharmaceutical companies always do badly in election years ,both sides beat up on them, even more so this time with JFK Jr. Whatever changes he makes, we will have to wait for the effects it will have on earnings going forward. Change/ my "rule of thumb" is its got to be at least 25% below fair value. My last buy was at 411p. My average is 540p, If it gets to £8 i will top slice and hold the rest, long term

DenFos,there is no "correct price", it maybe the price you are willing to pay. If you mean "fair value",i consider it to be £8. its a great buy at 490p

This market reminds me of the 2000 dot.com bubble. Tech became a bubble ,it burst and everyone went back into value, like Abbey National. Thats how Neil Woodford made his name ,he didnt get involved with the hype and was holding all the value. This investment game is simple. You just buy quality companies with a margin of safety, We all know the headwinds and market sentiment is rock bottom, but it wont last.

Win/before i bought CVSG i looked at PETS. They are similar businesses ,PETS are obviously more well known with their high street presence. They are both good companies. Yeah ,index funds are my concern, will the money come back to active mangers. I can see the reason for index funds, when it comes to the large caps, Dow and the S+P500.(where 88% of index funds beat active funds) but when it comes to SME a active fund like LIO comes into its own
