Think we have all learned a lot of lessons from this. Some of mine are...

1) When you think a share cannot go down anymore....it can!!!
2) when does averaging down become trying to catch a falling knife?
3) Be prepared to listen to both sides of an argument. Any article or poster that was even slightly questioning of the company was ridiculed on this board. Maybe, just maybe, they sometimes have a point that is worth examination.
4) Stop losses can save you from yourself. I personally took my stop losses off a number of times from this share due to the volatile SP moves. I am paying the price now.

Before someone digs me out.....I was either 230p or 240p.

I remember being sat at my screen on the morning of 3rd of Jan with a share price at 240p cigar in one hand and a glass of brandy in the other planning which Bentley to buy.......

What a ride eh

So.....we started down 6%.
Then recovered that to go back up by 6% to be flat on day
Now just went back 6% down on day.

Just no sense to these movements .

You can normally make a little bit of sense from a SP movement but this one just makes no sense at all. It is just being used as a cash machine by the spivs and hedge funds.

This is a complete joke.

Was the same recently when the market had a good run. We went down then too. Doesn't seem to be any stopping the game playing right now.

The spivs and hedge funds are laughing at us.

Yep looks like another afternoon takedown.

They won taking it down this morning, then switched to long to ride it back up. Stopped it breaking the 10 EMA and are now riding it back down again.

Just noticed that both Boo and ASOS have received broker downgrades and yet are both nicely up on the day.

Crazy markets.

250k is a big loss. Sorry to hear that Boom.

As you say it is sometimes very cathartic to just take the hit and move on to pastures new. I personally don't see a recovery in this SP untill well into next year at best. I am expecting the September update, if it's good or bad, to lead to another sell off, which seems to happen every time this company gives an update.

Maybe we just have to admit we have got this badly wrong.

We will see if they know anything in September.

No doubt this has triggered a lot of stop losses this morning.

I am thinking same. Something must be going on. It's dropping on heavy vol. Someone knows something.

THG being smashed up again.

Must be still selling in the background as some big sells going on. Unless some news is out we don't know about yet

Markets are now tanking in response. We cannot get a break right now.

This has been the pattern for weeks now.

10 EMA is now 63.36. 6 times today is has got around this level and every time it has been pushed back down again.

We COULD have hit a support level at 60p. Seems to get bought at that level. Still a bit early to tell for sure but looks like it so far.

Beauty was supposed to have been spun out in the first part of this year.

Think most of us fear feel your pain. I have written off my 185 investment, at least in the near term.

It really is time for Moulding and I to step up and start delivering on their statements.
