Adding ethanol to a vehicle that is not mapped for it is a sure fire way to blow up your engine. I race my car and have been using a fuel mixture for years instead of race fuel. Ethanol has been used for years to increase power and I know a few people who have used an ethanol mix as it was easy to get hold of if you live down south. Anyone who is silly enough to run their vehicle on a petrol/diesel/ ethanol mix without having any mapping done to their car deserves the engine to blow up.

I was just looking today at how IAG is dropping, I sold last year at 160 and noticed it’s getting closer to that price but I have a little more faith in them now.

Nomad, when I said EVO I’m on about a Mitsubishi evolution. Leaded fuel would of been long gone before these came out and I just use shell vpower as it’s the best fuel for jap/highly modified cars :-)

Hopefully this should have the share rising tomorrow, I was hoping it would of stayed lower for another month to top up more.

With the dip to 98p in RR I’m tempted to buy in myself but the stock seems to keep dropping to where we are now after rises.

I got out of easyjet and IAG middle of last year as I thought they would of fallen a lot more this year.

Adding ethanol to petrol & going from 5% up to 10 %, on the face of it the petrol is twice as green so all well and good at this point. However for a motorcycle specialist that I know well, it is an absolute nightmare.

The ecu will need to be remapped to use these fuels and it will add extra power so an insurance hike. I used the have my Impreza mapped to add 20% methanol but it’s a pain adding it and if you went on a long journey you would need to take enough with you in the boot.
I was tempted to get my EVO mapped for methanol but decided against it.

Predictions are set around the $100 mark but I hope it doesn’t as fuel is going to rise a lot more if it does.

A little bit more than a 70k service and I dont know if that sentence means price of new battery or batteries plus fitting.

You own the batteries unless you pay a monthly fee mileage dependant for a battery lease. I know renault lease batteries and the starting price was £50 a month for up to 5k miles PA. No one will replace batteries for free if they have just degraded thru use.
I saw a Top Gear show and they had a used Nissan Leaf on that and full charge did 36miles so not much use for anyone buying one as it’s a bit like buying a good car with a blown engine and only having the dealership to replace it.
I don’t know how true it is but I also heard there is a car manufacturer in Europe that has a field of scrap new cars as the batteries are defective and the batteries are a huge cost part of the vehicle.

BP has similar plans to open cafes etc in their forecourts once all the EV charging points go in. They are planning on making profits from the time people spend waiting for their vehicle to charge. Once you add the extra money you spend on coffees and more money on really fast charging won’t the costs be creeping up to fuel levels??

NoQuestionmarks, I have been investing my oil dividends into other stocks and a few miners. My hope is they at least double so I will have more money to invest in my main stocks .

happyinvestor, Has a good knowledge of the share and having an opinion on where the share price should be doesn’t make you an idiot. The price she expected is only 10p above where we are now so a good estimation of where the market should be.

A 7% rise today so hardly the makings of a firm going under. This period around 60p was an excellent top up or buy in opportunity as we know in a few years time this will be £1.80 a share.

I have to admit before the consolidation this share used to rise and fall say 20% every few days and now it barely moves.
