i think this could fly as the uk govt is breaking its neck to get a trade deal with india so could use bt as leverage to achieve there aims jmho.

you are the most negative person on the whole of the lse site never seen you make a positive comment on any uk stock and yet you claim that you have sold shares in these companies .

well i just got my £2.68 order filled only added 20% to my holding but still a good buy.
will now put another order in at £2.64 for another 20% but hoping it won't get filled who knows.

like i said it is only my opinion but i can tell you i have put a buy order in at 2.68 and i fully expect it to get filled. i don't want to see a takeover as would like to keep this stock as part of my retirement income.

in my opinion this will drop now into the 260s and hedge fund shorters will increase i believe this is a prelude to a takeover bid possibly late jan- feb so am keeping some powder dry at the moment to add in small tranches if this does happen jmho. dyor good luck steve.

a lot of young new investors on here and many other tech stocks but history tells you that the majority of new tech stocks fail.
lessons will be learnt investing is hard .

what a great set of results have been waiting 3 years for this company to come good although i never had any doubt that it would happen and will continue to rise over next couple of years.
daft thing is this stock is still very much under the radar but not for long i feel.
enjoy the ride anyone taking profits now are insane imho.

i only see 38p as the next level will then be looking for a rerate to the 50p area but for that to happen it would need a good set of year end results.
not sure what the joint broker appointment is all about might be something announced in the results we will see.

30p is a resistance point where there is quite a lot of selling but once broken can see this going quickly up to 38p .
results due out next wednesday which if they are as good as expected will drive this straight through the 30p barrier if it has not already been broken.

suffc555 i agree this stock is being manipulated i have been in this since beginning of the pandemic and watched it go up an down continuously for no explicable reason.
too me it makes no difference as i see it as a safe income stock and i just add a few more every time it dips into the 270s.
even admiral has hardly dropped today and it has been in decline for weeks and rightly so as it had been overvalued during the last year while dlg has been undervalued during all that time.

based on your figures it could be that the buyback is due to end when the latest update on 9/11/21 comes out. be interesting to see if another buy back is announced with the update.

i was waiting for the update on tuesday before buying in here but saw some big buys go through around 11-30 this morning so took the plunge.
am guessing that update figures will be better than market was expecting will see if i am right or not come tuesday.

hmm not good when you lose a ceo in such a short time must have been a big row somewhere here. but i have to say i was not impressed with his performance in that investors interview that he did earlier in the year.
as i said at the time it was like watching paint dry.
the recent selling also shows that this announcement had been anticipated by those in the know.
