Down just 1.11% on the JSE as i,m typing. Low volume just letting it fall, with moderate sells..Just ignore and look again on Tuesday morning. People want to be out over the long w/end.

Ignore share price movements 'till all back at their desks next tuesday. A moderate sell can move it quite rapidly. Down 3.22% over on JSE. Silly to trade till new year.

Nice read. Clearly Playtech is ubiquitous and as such should be rated accordingly. As on one of my posts mentioned LSEG which fought off four attempted takeovers and still remains independent. That was considered ubiquitous and four different parties tried to buy it. The point i'm making is the first attempt was at £20, then up to£60. The current price sits at £68 having once nearly reaching £100. The parties now fighting for it must be aware of this as this is the last catch..

Thanks! Are you valuing the whole of Playtech or extracting the value of Snaitech within the company which is the comparable sum of parts relating to Flutter's purchase. From what i've read Snaitech is the no. 1 player in Italy. Just thinking that all the parties are looking at the breakup value of the business and realising that £9 to£10 p.share is realistic.

Does Flutter's purchase of Sisal at 1.6B make playtech's sum of parts higher or lower? Anybody got any info.?

Sorry to read you've been a victim yourself. I to have. Woke up to find parts of my car had been taken. didn't know it was a thing , that people stole parts to order in my colour. Sure that Patrm was only making a point. Just to make a point myself, all of us on this B/B will be admonished as our ESG credentials are down the pan.I .personally can live with that.

You'd think that china would just offer £10 per share and own the lot for themselves and ease their supply problem. Send over 5000 men and they wouldn't take any sh*t regarding vandalism and copper theft. That coal mountain backlog would disappear before your very eyes.

I do not think the share price will ever reach any dizzy heights . You have to take into account that as the divi. is distributed the share price will drop accordingly. The share price will possibly hover steadily , but we receive massive divi's. Those not ring fencing the divi's in a ISA would be beytter off with share buybacks. I personally have all my shares in my and my wife's ISA.

Check out sky news website. Aristocrat have asked the takeover panel to investigate the Hong Kong cartel stake.building. They think they have over 20% of the shares between them and can block any bid for Playtech. They think they might want to extract the unregulated Asian market for themselves. Aristocrat are bottling it.
