The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Bamps
I'm pretty sure an MRE can include both indicated and inferred which would certainly be helpful in terms of getting the numbers up.
Wouldn't expect it until after the expansion drilling is complete as they would probably want those numbers in there.
After that I'm guessing a lot more infill to get to measured and indicated prior to BFS. More expansion would be nice too.
Hi Malbright.
I suspect Metallurgy results or Rutile results (if positive), will give us a boost prior to Q4 BFS.
We're fully funded by Talaxis to completion of BFS so no cash required at this time.
You can get more detail on the funding situation by listening to Will Dawes interview on Youtube. Just search Mkango and click on the video 'Incubating Rare Earths'. It's a very educational listen and should give you some reassurance.
It's very confusing.
So......let me get this straight. The SP MIGHT be suppressed because GH is selling? But, hang on, the price was suppressed before then too. And then it was because there was a big buyer.
I get it now. The price is suppressed because someone is either buying or, errr, selling.
Clear as mud. Just as well I don't go in for this trading lark
Re the meetings. I don't think they suggest any sort of takeover attempt is imminent.
Could just as likely be related to BFS stuff; power, equipment, supply chains, logistics, gov't incentives, environmental etc etc.
As I don't 'trade' I'm really not that bothered about short term price movements, although UP always looks nicer!
Looking forward to metallurgy, BFS and maybe rutile results in the near term. It's a fun ride!
SR, I agree the sp will be north of £1 but I'd give it 6 months yet unless we get any surprises between now and BFS.
Mkango management are pure class and they've not put a foot wrong so far.
They're definitely busy and there's probably an awful lot going on behind the scenes - there have been plenty of hints.
Good rutile results would be great but it's a sideshow compared to Songwe.
I think we'll all do very well
Incredible for a suspended company......and pretty much all about the same thing. When are we going to re-list?
I don't get it - we were told late May / June and it isn't late May or June yet so why the stress. It's not like anyone can do anything about it.
The PR company can only confirm what's been officially released so emails are pretty pointless. If you really think increasingly stern emails are going to change anything then you're misguided at best. Even if they knew anything else, they can't say.
For me, I'm thinking of this as a fixed term bond that I can't access yet. While I'm waiting, the company will be increasing the daily flow rate in Wyoming and hence the value of the company. Nigeria news is also overdue but that's fine - we'll either have a license extension or another 3 month window.
I appreciate it's a pain if you need access or the option to take some cash but nothing has changed that I can see.
After all this time, just a little more patience required
With respect munch, then you are very poorly researched.
Rutile results, Songwe metallurgy and anything else left field could all come short term.
Best of luck however you want to play it but you already ducked out with 10% profit when you could have had 50%.
I'd be surprised if you got another chance at 20p, but hey, you never know. You wouldn't be the only one piling in at that price.
Regards
Implied value back in Oct 2019 was £100M for Mkango
Look at rare earth prices then compared to now and also the recent upgrades re processing.
Add in the politics , rutile, Hypromag, etc etc
We're still cheap in my opinion
Of course, if I was a trader rather than an investor I'd say anything under 5p then fill your boots; it's a steal; buys showing as sells; NT to buy; they want your shares; never get this chance again, etc etc.
And sell into the rise.
I'd rather err on the side of caution and hopefully be surprised rather than disappointed. It's taken a long time to get here.
Tough one to predict biglad.
Just Atomic at current known production rates then maybe 1.5p. If the nutters turn up on masse then its anyone's guess.
It all depends on news between now and relist. Here's hoping for some great news
Certainly does SR.
As ever, patience is key. Been here pre Talaxis and not even slightly tempted to sell any just yet.
I'm sure we'll see some fun and games with the price over the next few months as institutions start sniffing around. It won't take a great deal to move this significantly higher as there's not a lot of shares floating around.
GL to all the diehards
