The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Happy to have called that one! Now let's see the other news I'm reckoning on.
25th May
The Company is, however, encouraged by the appointment of Mark Kowalski, MD, PhD as Chief, Research and Early Development, to focus on, among other things, the ongoing evaluation of development opportunities for Sierra's pipeline assets. Furthermore, Sareum continues to believe that the licensing agreement amendment signed in November 2020 between CRT Pioneer Fund and Sierra will help expedite the SRA737 development programme.
I'm convinced more news coming.
It imo indicates that the Sierra/AZ link up suggests AZ have been busy doing dd with Sareums ipr.
Looking good.
Thoth you lost me with this. Can you elaborate re a 'drug' that alters women of child bearing age? I've read many reports of a !'drug' that is affecting women who are menstrual and post menstrual. It's actually rather alarming. When you actually have relatives and friends who report different to msm well surely that appropriates a consideration. I appreciate you get a following here and I like most of your posts. But if I see things differently I will not hold back in valid posting.
Yeah right that's why Cenkos Securities are our new broker with warrants. Please post to inform how you see that as a negative. For the record I'm in Sareum. But got a bit of trolling re investing here. . Same as my investment in physiomics. They are all dovetailing. Homegrown with a bit of American finesse incoming.
Worth reading the ADVFN page re Cenkos Securities, our new broker. The whole staff are now incentivesed. Not spelling it out.
This is not a drill. Warrant options available.
If this dosnt go up tomorrow I would be surprised. If it goes down then the mms will exploit stop losses. Early doors will be very interesting.
Thoth everyone is on the spectrum, just depends where. Cleverest people I've met tend to be a bit 'quirky'. I never underestimate their talents and skills set especially when it comes to detail and getting the bit between their teeth when they see ahead of others. For the record as you probably guessed I'm a bit out there but it was definitely a plus in a previous vocation, and hopefully now.
Sierra 3rd conference should be happening now ish. Can't believe they won't give an update post the conferences soon, which Tim tends to update on.
Who knows. There is definitely news coming but so many avenues it can come from.
All best Steadydanny
I'm not sure either but if if it is your birthday Ahfam many happy returns. Sincerely. I picked up on a post and it said it was your birthday. So many best regards.
I think we are in the month of news.
Isn't it extraordinary Sierra becomes topic of conversation! Go figure! Did I bring it up!?
I'm sure there are posters on here that like a thread to be their own despite altering it with a nuance of previous notification but change it slightly.
Lol. Proof is in the posting. Initial posting.!
Yes it can be a quandary of reasoning.
But I'm sure the savvy lth of AIM stocks will be aware.
Today Mail on Sunday
One of the reasons why AIM shares are popular is that they can help to lower inheritance tax bills.
The stocks listed on this market benefit from an allowance introduced in 1976 called Business Property Relief. Originally BPR was meant to ensure that family businesses did not have to be broken up by iht bills.....the Relief is available after just 2 years....in other words , any qualifying AIM shareholding escapes inheritance tax provided the holder has owned the shares for a atleast 2 years.
Fill your boots.
Many happy returns Afham. I'm enjoying reading the great posts re Sierra and 737. As I previously posted I was trying to get my head around the link up and responsibilities re link up.
In my opinion Sareum (understandibly) tend to produce a RNS re Sierra as an update to what they give in a conference.
This is of note recently from I believe Tim in a recent RNS (although as some have pointed out no news is not bad news, just getting ducks in a row).
'Sierra also noted that AZD5153 had shown preclinical efficacy in combination with a diverse range of agents, and that synergy between AZD5153 and a family of DNA damage response agents, known as ATR inhibitors, suggested potential utility in combination with SRA737.
In its 10-K filing, published yesterday, Sierra reiterated that it is focusing its resources on the development of momelotinib and exploring options to potentially support the continued development of SRA737'.
In my opinion if (when!) a RNS is forthcoming it will be Wednesday following Sierra fire side chat on the Tuesday prior. Just before Q4.
Maybe they are leaving the best to last in their 3 conferences of which 2 have recently been undertaken and the last on Tuesday.
So many pharmas going big guns at the mo.
Softly softly maybe the plan so far here.!?
Looking forward to next week.
Best regards Steadydanny
Good shout WIP. But Sierra are cash rich with $34m option. Too many of our iprs have gone awol. FLT3 just reeks of covered up progress as does 737.
Let's see what the next RNSs say. They are due soon.
Pharma is karma if you hold and be bold.
Elcap you need to look at EUA. Not cross ramping as very little posting here, but I appreciate you are in also, Holly ****. Still very happy here as you are. Hopefully others see the royalties and potential here.
As Al Pacino said in Scent of A woman.
Hoo ya!
If you reduce an offered investment it means the doors are shut and the tyre kickers can effectively fo!
Kippers rum and whiz.
I'm trying to get my head around them and what their sp is predicted to be and why 737 seems to have gone quiet, I believe 34 to 38 $ is some predictions for Sierra.
This was the news in 2017.

Sierra Oncology Inc.'s shares SRRA, -2.42% jumped 7.3% in premarket trade Monday, after the company reported positive results in early-stage trials of its Chk1 inhibitor, SRA737 as a treatment for different cancers. "We expect to accrue a solid understanding of dose, schedule, pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic parameters for SRA737 from these two studies, and the data observed to date are encouraging and consistent with our preclinical research." Chief Executive Dr. Nick Glover said in a statement. Sierra shares are down 17% in 2017 through Friday, while the S&P 500 SPX, 0.06% has gained 9%.
I've looked at all the RNS updates re 737 and last news was Tim was confident that the AZ link up and that 5153 could be part of its pipeline link up with 737. Sierra have had a steady 100 percent rise this year.
Anyone on here who is a Sierra/737 aficionado please explain what they think is/isn't happening as I'm wondering were we not due milestone payments re CRT linkup? Are they holding back for next Tuesdays fireside chat just prior to Q4?
Really greatly appreciate any input.
Hi elcap. I'm on exactly the same hymn sheet. I'm reckoning there are a que of fill orders in place.
Elcap and the price drops!? Go figure.
Can't see anything wrong with the pathway so far. I thought this would have been higher.
But patience is a virtue.
On a side note, I actually had a dream that I saw the sp graph for Ciz (that was wed night) and the sp went up as if hitting 1pm on a clock dial.
But it was a dream.....and Thursday came and went....still early doors imo.
Crest I think I may have an idea what you are pointing out. If I'm right maybe the term sinclair has a resonance? Raised 3 hopefully list at 50! Assuming I'm right it was advised to me a few weeks ago. Totally different science. More of a disinfectant. And if I'm right check out the board. If some prior to an ipo claim to have 80 years of experience then I'd look at the number of board members. 80 years of experience divided by 6 directors isn't a lot of experience per person.
However, here we have board members that hold gravitas with their experience and time well known to be real experience of following the science. Or maybe making the science?
That's my thought.
Paulus I think it's great that we have a further £1.5m that can be raised with absolutely minimal disruption at any point. But our coffers are very healthy and will be exercised in a timely manner imo.
It all looks good to me.
Pretty sure those warrants are able to be purchased at 8.25p if the sp spends 5 days over 10.25p. They were issued on a 1:1.25 basis.
Such as HNWI #1 Subscription was £900k @ 2.8p and a 1 for 5 warrant available if above 5p for 5 days. They exercised that on 19th July raising £180k.
Utah what is it specifically you see as a reason via sareums ipr for you to be invested and on the flip side to trade it?
Appreciate Mafuta. I think my point might go over some radars re public and private. Appreciate we are public but these private company events are rather selective in who can be part of big boy discussions and have something to bring to the table. It's an introduction to a new level and some.
As in can I offer this with your public ipr etc as I have this to offer ...no doubt been backed privately....by.....bought into the public domain....
by....it is all adding up.
