Now assuming Kibo and EDL completed their tenders with no collusion, no copying over each others shoulders which in all seriousness I am 100% sure they did, then what are the chances that both of them would make either the same balls up or even different ones that would rule both of them from progressing? Surely not I mean it just seems unbelievable to me that both companies have been incapable of submitting an acceptable tender bearing in mind thwt neither company appear to know why!

bcl42 what a cracking post, for 30 or 40 mil I would be gone like a shot, back to 4 to 6p and funding in place. I wonder if the govt have any sort of plan, by that I mean they know what they are doing the following day never mind the next 10 years!

Shrubby it is very strange. I cant believe they are going to pull out of coal as if they do they are stuffed for a hell of a long time and if they are still going to use coal then it is an even stranger decision not to go with KIbo or EDL. And add the fact they have not given a reason, well I really want to know what they tell LC.

And I still find the lack of sells very interesting. If another company had released an RNS similar to that I would have expected in excess of a 100 mil shares sold. Just my thoughts.

Thank you for that, much appreciated. That was my thoughts about there being the 2 companies in for it hence when Kibo got shot down EDL were the ones. Now there appears to be no one in the game as surely you would say Kibo and EDL have not progressed but ??? have etc. There has to be much more to this but as stated the country is or shortly will be avoided like no other by anyone and everyone.

Just some random thoughts but it would seem to me that there is a possibility that it could be sold and that is someones plan. Good point from Shrubby the focus so far has been on the companies that have been blown out no mention of the great companies that are going to take this forward. I have to confess when I heard that Kibo had missed out I thought EDL were a certainty if for no other reason I could not think of anyone else. O yes I forgot the Chinese....Hmmm

JDwag so is that how you would see Kibo progressing selling up to the Chinese? just trying to gather as many informed opinions as possible.

JDwag I read your 14:41 post with interest, what would your view be on why they would shaft a \Western company? the bit I don't get is if there is ever cutting your nose off to spite your face then that would be it. I'm missing something here with this and I just don't know what it is.

I know this has been mentioned by a couple of holders but the bit I do not get is if it is full steam ahead with interconnector as seems to be the case then how the hell are they going to power it. You can either be for or against KIbo and LC etc but forgetting that bit where will the power come from? If I have missed something and people do have answers happy to hear peoples views.

That really was my last £4500 I dare not look how many shares I now have. At the SOL tonight come on Sunderland take my mind of this pain....on a serious note I do think the low number of sells after yesterdays news does say something. Make your mind up what you think but for me it has helped keep me sane...GL all

I'm still in and for my sins after everything I have said will be buying more. A hard few months ahead but hell I bought at 5.7p so I'm going to get stuck in again. GL all its a crazy world this stock market!!!

I found Steve post earlier interesting about 17 million shares being traded today on that news with a 50% drop and if it had happened to other companies we may have seen 100 million shares traded. Not a great deal of sells considering and a hell of a drop.

JD I agree with you post. I have not posted much today as really can not find anything positive at the moment. I have to say though that the boss gets the rewards and equally when it goes horribly wrong then he or she should carry the can. I for one who have always had absolute faith in LC, well today I have to say those positive thoughts are not with me. The only saving grace is we are hopefully and I mean hopefully are not a one trick pony. GL to us all, we are going to need it. I'm not selling, on a 66% loss at the moment on a huge number of shares.

The only thing I would say about the seller is my guess would be he/she has lost a load like the rest of us here. No point in me selling here now, just sit and wait it out 1 year or 5 years. Very sad at the moment....But its only a loss when you come to sell so hanging in there.

What a balls up all round here, lets EDL as well. Staggering they are going to blow everyone out
