I'm guessing no-one here went to the AGM in May and gleaned any info??

I've been a holder since 2013. Emailed Investor Relations last month - no reply. Can anyone foresee ANY sort of resolution going forward? If not, how do you actually get rid of these shares. (AJ Bell threatening to actually make a charge just to value them).

The link posted suggests that A J Bell is one of the "Brokers that can get US dividends paid gross into their SIPPs".
I have just asked AJB to confirm this and they replied "We are unable to pay gross dividends on international stocks. You are liable to Witholding Tax as the company (Somero Enterprises) must withhold the tax at the time they pay the income to a foreign shareholder." (I have a W8-BEN).
Just wondering if anyone is holding SOM in a AJBell SIPP that could confirm this.

Krusty, like you I won't use Primary Bid and I find it annoying that it's becoming increasingly the case that Co's are using them.
I looked back at the RNS's concerning the previous fund raising and Primary Bid was not mentioned on that one so I think SUPR may have been "signed up" by PB like many others. Like I say. I hope not and if you get any luck with HL, can you post back?

I hope I'm wrong but it appears that the only way for private investors to participate is via this Primary Bid app which will not allow you to acquire in your SIPP or ISA.

I note they've declared a fifth interim dividend, as promised back in February, for payment 18th May. The first interim div is normally also paid in May so I'm assuming (hoping) there will be another payment two weeks later.

Eadwig. Yes, I understood they would be raising more cash. One of the reasons I bought in in the first place. My gripe, and the same for others by the look of it, is that I now am effectively not able to participate as my shares are all stashed in a SIPP. That wasn't mentioned in any prospectus.

I hold GSF in my SIPP, and as I understand it, there is no system whereby I can apply for more to top up the SIPP even though my broker may be "approved". So my holding will now be diluted and nothing I can do about it. Can't really see how this helps the private investor.
