The reasons we use Hydrogen as a fuel source & the reasons we use Ammonia as a carrier fuel for that Hydrogen fuel.

1. BETTER COMBUSTION,than Ammonia. Pure Hydrogen ignites easily, burns exceptionally fast & delivers high energy output with producing Green house gasses.

2. Hydrogen as no toxic emissions, unlike Ammonia which produces harmful nitrogen oxides.

3. FUEL CELL COMPATABILITY , pure Hydrogen is the required fuel for Proton exchange membrane ( PEM) fuel cells. Which power zero emission Vechiles, generators etc, with high efficiency.

REASONS WE STILL NEED Ammonia

1. Hydrogen requires extreme compression or cryogenic cooling.

Ammonia is easily liquefied at moderate pressures & room temperatures. Making it far safer to store & ship.

2. HIGHER DENSITY, By volume liquid Ammonia holds about 50% more Hydrogen than liquid Hydrogen itself.

3. The Ammonia infrastructure is already in place world wide.

Garonne, I think you may benefit from abit of research into Ammonia & Hydrogen & the reasons why Ammonia is not suitable for mass energy use itself. It is alot more suitable as an energy carrier. A quick search on Google will explain in depth.

H-power plc is also hard at work securing the short to long term future of its products in Europe & the USA. They have commissioned the necessary studies & certification in these markets.

Then last but not least we have the, as yet unnamed S & P 500 partner,, who once terms finalised will dwarf even the very impressive revenues from the HY5 crackers & will also increase orders for our Fuel cells to use the power provided.

Oh & then there's not only that LC30. There is also the 200kw units coming back into production, once the Hy5 crackers are operational.

We also have numerous & increasing partners to demonstrate & distribute the increasing units.

Oh & bear in mind, as stated that is when once up to initial production targets ( as stated ) & even at one quarter of that amount of revenue comes to £115, 937,500 million. & is only based on 350 days per year.

& a few very conservative revenue estimates based on a 50/50 joint split with partners means.

50 × HY5's × 500kg per day, at £10 per kg = £87,500,000 ÷ 2 ( with partners ). So revenue of £43,750,000 for H-Power from the first years initial production run of 50 crackers.

Then there's the LC30 fuel cells, when upto Volex capacity of 6000 per annum. The LC30 uses 40 to 45 kg of Hydrogen per day at full capacity.

So we will take the lower figure of 40kg ÷ it by two for partner 50/50 split = the following.

6000 × 20kg per day ×£10kg = £420,000,000 million per annum for H-power.

All this once we are upto initial capacity.

12 Month initial production plans once CE marked etc.

Dunsfold expects to build & as capacity for

50 HY5 Ammonia crackers per annum ( though this is in the process of being contracted out to increase production to much larger amount of units with third party. As the LC30's are with Volex ).

Volex as initial capacity to build 6000 LC30 fuel cells per annum.

Should be extremely intresting once both products are CE approved & move into the mass production stage.
