Anyone know why the price is down so much?

Yes 182p per share payable 16th Nov 17. that's the timetable but still not sure how long we would be given by new company to share a possible settlement if court awarded Imagination compensation.

Split on court settlement if any was mentioned in BB 1 Nov and mentions that it's in offer documentq. I guess if this was to happen they would go back to the company register as at last day of trading. To be honest I just want to see Apple Pay out big time on any claims made. They have caused Imagination to sell up pulling its contract and taking top staff. That aside another day nearer payout..........

Think CB will look long and hard over claim against Apple. Hope that evidence is strong and in favour of Imagination. It would be so nice to see Apple have to pay out a large amount and partially.split it with the old shareholders. Makes you wonder how the Qualcomm situation will also end up and how long it will take for a decision. Probably end up as an undisclosed out of court payment! It's time Apple come down to earth and pay out Big time in both cases.

dfslicker, Final day and yes a very disappointing share price. Expected to see a higher price on buy backs. All So now it's boxes to be ticked and chequer sent to shareholders. Let's hope there's no more revelations from CB and this goes through without a hitch. Then it's relax and see how the court case unfolds. Not sure if BB will be kept open so GLA and thanks for previous messages and some clafication where needed.

Let's hope we have a growing number of institutional investors. Maybe a little more than meets the eye on jump in price. A growing well run company and we can now see this from last results. Already looking forward to next RNS. Good luck fellow share holders.

As you say this does seem to be rush to get this all done and dusted. I would say that anyone on the register by certain date (not known) will be entitled to any potential payout, need advisors clarification on that if we win case. Remember Apple would only pay 90% as a major holder. Think these larger trades going through are buy backs to cover short positions. This may even push the price higher than the offer from CB. If I hear anything on record date I'll post on BB. Shame we didn't have any other serious contenders (Apple Arm or another) to out bid to force a better offer. Just hope we get a little extra out of this deal. GLA

Still questions to answer fellow shareholders: Closing of short positions in tight market. Why has Apple held onto its position. The court battle with Apple. Potential one-off payment to loyal shareholders. Think this will roll on for some time. Decided to now see it to the bitter end. GLA

My thoughts for what it's worth guys. It seems that IMG have a strong case against Apple but think it will drag on through the courts. CB will pursue with their full financial strength to win the day. IMO the loyal shareholders will see very little from this titanic battle. One thing I would like to know is why Apple still hold that 10% as I've not seen them give any sale notice(s) in any RNS. This investment has been in my portfolio for a long time wating year in year out for good news...... If I have the opportunity intend to try and exit at 180p in market just in case! GLA

If IMG think they have a just case with Apple thats great but our company have not got the financial muscle until they are taken over. Given the size and arrogance of Apple I would imagine this wil go on for ages and would not expect to see any payout. Been loyal to IMG over the years and selected them rather than ARM - what a mistake! Has everyone sold out of IMG? As nothing recent on BB. Perhaps investors have just cleared positions just in case bid does not go through. The only thing I can think of by holding on (other than 82p offer price and no broker charge) is possibility of a 50% payout in the Apple dispute by way of a special div or the short positions being covered pushing price nearer/above bid level. Please share your thoughts - Do I wait or sell..........

Been in this Company a long while now and the change in direction is positive. So much so I doubled my holding. This is going to take a while before this gets going but can see growth with the new guys in charge. Need an odd positive RNS to keep this sp climbing. Keep an eye on the bb but as you say not many comments yet. Just you and me at present buddy...... Will respond again when we hear some fresh news.
